Rising from the ashes in 2020, the Slovakia Ring provided the backdrop for Round 3 of the Champions of the Future Euro Series, which has now moved into the second half of the 2024 season. The uncertain weather conditions of the first day gave way to incessant duels and intense suspense, under the direction of promoter RGMMC, who managed the organisation of the meeting to perfection. Britain's Joe Turney in OK and Spain's Christian Costoya in OK-Junior emerged victorious from this difficult event, leaving the series wide open ahead of the last two rounds scheduled in Sweden and the UK.

In France, the KR Motorsport team emerged victorious from the second round of the European Championship, in both OK and OK-Junior. Making the right choices at the right time is one of the strengths of the Italian brand, which demonstrated its ability to adapt to all weather conditions. Joe Turney and Iacopo Martinese dominated the proceedings on the Val d'Argenton circuit, a track no one was even familiar with a few weeks ago. The Briton is now the Championship leader in OK, while the Italian has moved up to 3rd in OK-Junior.

By successfully navigating his way through the many pitfalls of the second round of the FIA Karting European Junior Championship without crashing, Christian Costoya demonstrated Parolin Motorsport's current level of performance right up to the foot of the podium. The solidity of his performance despite the unpredictable weather conditions of the first two days of competition kept the team's confidence high, and we can celebrate with him as he leaves Val d'Argenton in 2nd place in the provisional standings.

Following on from his 5th place in the Champions of the Future Euro Series, Matheus Morgatto put in an exceptional performance at the Val d'Argenton circuit during the second round of the FIA Karting European Championship - OK. The Brazilian driver from the Charles Leclerc Racing team made the most of the potential of his Birel ART / TM Kart in all the conditions of a weekend made particularly difficult by the changeable weather. Delighted to have reached the third step of the Final podium, he also moved up to 4th place in the Championship.

After the changeable and wet weather of the first two days, the sun shone on Sunday and all the races took place on a dry track. Joe Turney (GBR) continued his domination of the OK class to the Final, as did Iacopo Martinese in OK-Junior. Jakub Gasparovic (SVK) won the first 2024 Final of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy.

The 2nd Round of the FIA ​​Karting European Championship - OK & Junior which took place in France on the Val D'Argenton track also saw the CRG Racing Team among the main protagonists of the event. The OK top-class drivers took part and played a leading role, once again led by Gabriel Gomez. The Brazilian was constantly among the fastest on the track and after the qualifying phases, he obtained P5 on the starting grid for the Final. With 17 registered drivers, the CRG Racing Team will be one of the largest and most competitive teams in the 2nd Round of the FIA ​​European OK and OKJ Championship scheduled from April 25 to 28 on the Val D'Argenton track. For their very first competition in the FIA Karting categories on the French circuit of Val d'Argenton, the KR chassis demonstrated their effectiveness and quality of adaptation. The second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series was not without its challenges, but the hard work put in by the teams using the KR-IAME package put the drivers on the right track.

Zac Drummond was very strong throughout the weekend at Val d'Argenton, taking top spot in the OK standings after Round 2 of the Champions of the Future Euro Series. Among other interesting performances, Parolin Motorsport can also be proud of Miguel Costa's 12-place improvement in the Final, and Christian Costoya's 22-place climb in the Junior Final.
