The third edition of the FIA Motorsport Games has officially begun. A total of 646 athletes from 82 countries will compete in no fewer than 26 categories, a significant increase from the 16 categories of last time in France and the six categories of the first edition in Italy. The Rally category has been expanded from three to nine categories, while GT Single Make, Esports F4, Karting Mini and Cross Car Mini are also new.

Selected for the second time by the Real Federación Española de Automovilismo to represent Spain, Belén García returns to competition this week at the FIA Motorsport Games. The 25-year-old driver will aim for gold in Karting Endurance with José Manuel Pérez-Aicart and Germán Sánchez at the Aspar Circuit in Valencia.

The seal of prestige in a weekend heavily influenced by the weather came with the podium in KZ2 by Paavo Tonteri, P3 at the end of a journey always among the big names, starting from Qualifying Practice.

At the FIA Karting World Championship KZ in Portimão, Portugal, the Tony Kart Racing Team took to the track with the Racer 401 RR and OMP suits in the 2025 livery. Although 2024 is not yet over, the Tony Kart Racing Team is already laying the groundwork for the 2025 season. At the Champions of the Future Shifters event in Portimão, their Tony Kart Racer 401 RR wins the pole position in KZ and the place of honour in KZ2 Masters class

The new Champions of the Future Shifters, which has just taken place in Portimao, featured Birel ART drivers in all three categories. Daniel Vasile took victory in KZ2, while Artem Severiukhin was on the podium, Pedro Hiltbrand secured 3rd place in KZ and Davide Foré 4th in KZ2 Master. Two weeks before the World Championship, Lissone's products are showing excellent competitiveness.

Following their excellent results in the FIA Karting European Championship in the Shifter categories, Sodi chassis continued their haul of success on the Portimao circuit in southern Portugal. Anthony Abbasse, who dominated the KZ2 Masters, won the Champions of the Future Shifter 2024 title.

For four days, the Algarve International Karting Circuit in Portimao vibrated to the rhythm of the KZ, KZ2 and KZ Master karts at a meeting eagerly awaited by competitors. The drivers and teams were able to work in a variety of weather conditions, gathering a wealth of data and gaining a much better understanding of the Portimao track. Many of the drivers were taking part in a Champions of the Future event for the first time and appreciated the professionalism of the organisation put in place by RGMMC. On a warm and sunny day of southern Portugal, Frenchman Jérémy Iglesias won the KZ class, Romanian Daniel Vasile won the KZ2 class and Frenchman Anthony Abbasse dominated the KZ Master class.
