The Birelart Racing Team got the FIA Karting European OK and OK-Junior Championship off to a flying start at Campillos. Although the final results did not fully reflect the potential seen on track, the performances nevertheless highlighted the quality of the preparation and the cohesion of the team.

With the Prema Racing team and IAME engines, KR chassis dominated the first of four rounds of the FIA Karting European Championships in OK and OK-Junior. At Campillos in Spain, the results of the two Finals spoke for themselves: Noah Baglin won brilliantly in the youngest category ahead of his team-mate Dean Hoogendoorn and James Anagnostiadis triumphed in OK, while Dries Van Langendonck secured a second double for the Kart Republic factory.

On the Spanish circuit of Campillos, the Racer 401 T is fast and competitive in both categories. After the strong performances shown throughout the weekend, in the two finals the Racing Team down not gain the results within its reach.

Round 1 of the FIA European Championship ended with results below expectations and potential for the CRG Racing Team drivers. As the 2025 Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship - OK & Junior got underway on Friday 4th April at the Campillos International Kart Center, the Qualifying sessions were eagerly awaited to provide an initial overview of the season’s talents. Despite threatening skies, with an occasional few drops of rain, the 173 drivers were able to use slick tyres from the first to the last session. In southern Spain, Chiara Battig (SUI) took pole position in the OK class, while Iskender Zulfikari (TUR) was fastest in the OK-Junior class.

This week, from 3 to 6 April, the Campillos circuit in Spain will open the FIA ​​Karting season, with the OK and OK Junior European Championship over 4 rounds, the KZ and KZ2 European Championship over 3 rounds and the two World Championships, one for the OK categories and one for the KZ classes, in two separate events both in a single round. The FIA ​​events program will be completed by the World Cup for the OKN categories in September in Italy.

In Campillos, home of the first round of the Euro Series, their Racer 401 T finishes in front of everyone in the final reserved for the OKJ category, with the official driver Ilie Tristan Crisan.

Christian Costoya of Parolin Motorsport won the first round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series in OK after a hard fought weekend. Drivers had to contend with the warmest temperatures of the year and a different tyre compound to those that they have raced on so far but they were well supported by the entire Parolin team.

With 96 drivers entered in OK and 91 in OK-Junior in the first of five rounds of the Champions of the Future Euro Series, top 10 places in the Final were extremely hard to come by. The teams using KR chassis and IAME engines clearly worked in the right direction, as the rankings showed seven OK and six OK-Junior drivers in the top 10 of the Finals. In 2025, the aim will be to retain the OK title in this RGMMC series and to win back the OK-Junior crown.
