New records for Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy Season Seven

No fewer than 354 drivers are expected at the Le Mans International Circuit this year, confirming the immense appeal of the Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy.

3MK Events, in collaboration with BRP-Rotax, promises a top-level event in 2025, with proven organisational quality, a high-calibre field, intense racing and generous prize money, all of which have built the RMCIT's reputation over the years.

Entries on the rise

Five continents and 45 nations are represented in this 7th edition, including Taiwan, New Zealand, Thailand, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, the USA, Ecuador, Israel, Japan, etc. The 7th edition of the RMCIT breaks a new participation record with 354 drivers in six categories: Micro Max (8-11 years old), Mini Max (10-13 years old), Junior Max (12-14 years old), Senior Max (14 years old and over), Max DD2 (15 years old and over), Max DD2 Masters (32 years old and over). Mojo is the official tyre supplier for the event.

Exceptional prizes

Prestigious partners such as Rotax, 321 Perform, WFR, ITAKAshop Bell Helmets, Quincaillerie Aixoise and Porsche France are contributing to the success of the event. A grand prize draw with generous prizes will take place immediately after the Finals. Rotax vouchers worth €10,000 and Bell helmets are among the prizes to be won. The best drivers will also be rewarded at the podium ceremony, where six tickets will be awarded for the 2025 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals. Six Rotax engines are also up for grabs.

A sporting and festive atmosphere

The Rotax Max Challenge has built its reputation by combining performance, reliability and fairness, quickly highlighted by high-quality events such as the RMCIT, which can count on the legendary Le Mans track to attract competitors. To ensure maximum fairness, 3MK Events relies on numerous cameras installed throughout the circuit, race control experienced in major international events and the rigour of its officials. The programme includes a photo shoot for everyone on Tuesday and a much-appreciated drivers' parade on Friday evening, followed by a cocktail party with DJ entertainment. The races will be available to follow via live timing and streaming.

The forces at play

Micro MAX, 36 drivers

The British drivers Masiokas Benediktas (Gillard), Alfie Garrett (Gillard), Charlie Page (Kosmic), Harris Barber (Tony Kart), Albi-Jay Stubbs (KR) and Khloe Mcgill (Tony Kart), who are well placed in their national championships, are certainly among the drivers to watch, along with Frenchman Jaimy Septier (Praga).

Mini MAX, 36 drivers

British drivers Joshua Cooke (Kosmic), Alfie Mair (Gillard) and Austin Oman (KR), who finished in the top three in Micro Max last year at the RMCIT, with Cooke also winning the RMCGF, Robin Raikkonen (KR), son of the great Kimi, who finished 5th in Sarno, are among the Micro Max drivers who have recently moved up to Mini Max. Emerson Macandrew-Urren (Lando Norris), 2nd in Mini Max in 2024 at Le Mans and 5th in the Grand Final is among the favourites in the category alongside Ryan White (CS55) and Max Joly (Tony Kart).

Junior MAX, 72 drivers

Jacob Ashcroft (Lando Norris), Abie Laper (Tony Kart) and Clarke Kai (KR), the top three in the British RMC, Albert Friend (Tony Kart), 2024 RMCGF Mini MAX champion, and Maximov Boaz (Tony Kart), who finished 5th in 2024, are all well placed for the RMCIT. Add to that Antoine Grisel (Kosmic), Gabriel Benecchi (Redspeed) and Théo Battisti (Sodi), leaders of the NSK championship in Nationale, the French equivalent of Junior MAX, to get an initial idea of the drivers likely to shine.

Senior MAX, 108 drivers

The British delegation will be able to count on Macauley Bishop (Lando Norris), 2nd in the 2024 Grand Final ahead of Lewis Gilbert (CS55) and 5th in the RMCIT behind Matthew Higgins (Lando Norris), as well as the reliable Kai Hunter (CS 55) and Sean Butcher (Kosmic). The French contingent is represented by Titouan Lescalié (Tony Kart) and Simon Périgny (KR), who finished 6th and 7th in 2024, Tom Billout (Tony Kart) and Mehdi Lassoued (Sodi), who finished 6th in the RMCGF, Nolan Lemeray (EOS), and Oscar Goudchaux (Kosmic), who finished 6th in the Junior category last year. Dutchman Ties van Wijk (Lando Norris), winner of the 2024 Junior MAX, is also competing in the Senior MAX this year.

MAX DD2, 72 drivers

Dutchwoman Imke Arts (KR), Czechs Jakub and Petr Bezel (Tony Kart), Frenchmen Kylian Guérin (KR) and Antoine Barbaroux (EOS), Danish driver Rasmus Vendelbo (CRG), and Belgian driver Lenn Nijs (KR) form the backbone of the 2024 edition, alongside Polish driver Dawid Maslakiewicz (CS55), who finished 5th in the RMCGF.

MAX DD2 Masters, 30 drivers

The 2024 DD2 winner, Slovenian Xen de Ruwe (Tony Kart), is a top recruit in the Masters, facing Brazilian Fernando Guzzi (Tony Kart). In the absence of Frenchman Nicolas Picot, his brother Vivien Cussac-Picot (Tony Kart), the defending champion, will take up the torch against Britain's Jack Dex (MS Kart) and France's Charles Seguin (Tony Kart). Belgian veteran Christophe Adams will try his luck in DD2 Masters.
