It was a very positive weekend for Baby Race in Lonato's WSK Open Cup event. It started in the best possible way with poles for Ean Eychmans in the 60 Mini class and Lorenzo Ferrari in OK.

The WSK Open Cup at Lonato saw victories go to Longhi (I – BIRELART-TM KZ2), Coluccio (I – BIRELART-TM OK), Smal (RUS – TONYKART-VORTEX OKJ) and Stenshorne (N – PAROLIN-TM 60MINI). The next event is the Final Cup at Lonato on October 21st.

The single race event to be hosted on the 1200 meters of the South Garda Karting Circuit in Lonato has today its finals of the WSK Open Cup. The novelty of the event, that marks the comeback of WSK Promotion to Lonato, is that WSK Open Cup will be a constant presence in the next WSK racing seasons. Enjoy the finals of the OK Junior, Mini's, OK and KZ2.

In the heats of the WSK Open Cup in Lonati (I), the quickest drivers, celenta (I-Praga-TM KZ2), Thompson (GB- FA-Vortex OK), Barnard (GB-KR-Parilla OKJ) and Antonelli (I-Energy-TM), are ready for the final rush.

The fight for the top has begun at  the South Garda karting.

Very interesting results came at the end of qualifying and initial qualifying heats, that have kicked off the WSK Open Cup this afternoon at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato (BS). Strong names of their categories are already fighting with some new contenders to the win, as shown by the chronos posted in the first races of the weekend.

The results are piling up for Energy Corse in all corners of the world. The factory team has achieved excellent results in the European Championship and the WSK Super Master Series, while the Italian chassis enabled many drivers to reach the podium thanks to the efforts of distributors around the world, including in Japan, Australia and Germany ...

After its recent WSK Super Master Series successes, Parolin Racing Kart has fully confirmed its place among the top international karting teams at the opening of the CIK-FIA European Junior Championship. In particular, Gabriele Mini has completed a very progressive event with top performances and a superb 2nd place finish as a reward.

The 2018 WSK Super Master Series has just ended at the fast circuit of Sarno with a very positive result for the Sodi Racing Team. Alex Irlando made the colours of the French team shine at the highest international level by climbing to 2nd place in the KZ2 category. With four Sodi ranked in the top 10 of the Championship, the French brand confirms its ambitions before the start of the CIK-FIA European Championship.

At the Sarno circuit, the last event of the WSK Super Master reaped a harvest of success for the Parolin Racing Kart team. The victorious double in the 60 Mini Final was accompanied by a double in the Championship, won by Martinius Stenshorne, while Gabriele Mini won in the OK-Junior ranking.

Already winner in his last race of 2017 in Spain, Alex Irlando has continued his winning streak for the opening of the international season. The Italian champion is the leader of KZ2 in the WSK Super Master Series after brilliantly winning the Adria Final. He is closely followed by the French hopeful Adrien Renaudin from the CPB Sport team. Sodi has started the development of its OK equipment in a very encouraging first run.
 

Thanks to Gabriele Mini and Tymoteusz Kucharczyk, Parolin Racing Kart was able to twice climb to the highest step of the podium of the WSK Super Master Series at Sarno, in OK-Junior and 60 Mini. This double success, which follows a series of exceptional performances since the beginning of the season, demonstrates once again the quality of the Parolin chassis within a very competitive environment.

The WSK Super Master Series moved to Naples one week ahead of the original schedule to replace the Lonato event canceled because of the snow. Although this event was not scheduled in the programme, Birel ART Racing took the opportunity to continue to develop the equipment and drivers. Good performances rewarded everyone's efforts, especially in OK-Junior with Francesco Pizzi's 7th place. The first steps in European competition for Thomas Nepveu were also more than encouraging with an incredible 15th position in the Final.

The La Conca circuit is known for the strong grip of its surface. This radical change has been negotiated by the Birel ART Racing Team, the chassis from Lissone adapting beautifully to these unusual circumstances. After pole position in OK and winner of his Prefinal, Coluccio was able to compete with the best during the whole meeting. A collision on the first round of the Final prevented him from completing his impressive demonstration.

The 23rd edition of the Winter Cup at Lonato, like the WSK Super Master Series at La Conca, was another opportunity to demonstrate that the Energy Corse chassis and the team remain relentless international benchmarks. Very well represented in Lonato in the Finals in all categories, the Energy brand achieved a magnificent double in Mini Rok with the promising Italian Andrea Antonelli and Poland’s Karol Pasiewicz from the team Revolution Motorsport! And at the WSK in 60 Mini, Antonelli took another victory, while the Russian Kirill Kutskov, another member of the factory team, was on the third step of the podium!

It has been a difficult weekend for Baby Race in the third round of the WSK Super Master Series at La Conca track in Muro Leccese as the heavy grip on the Apulia circuit complicated things. In the Mini class, Coskun Irfan was among the absolute protagonists, finishing third at the end of the qualifying heats.

As spring is kicking in, teams and drivers have been busy in Muro Leccese (I) this weekend for the pre-race tests of WSK Super Master Series. This is in fact going to be the venue of the third round of the series next weekend. The La Conca World Circuit will stage the International series –  that has started scoring very good participation figures, from March 15^th to 18 after the forced suspension of one week ago due to the exceptional snow fallen on the circuit of Lonato. The classification fights have therefore been postponed after the kick off to the season held at the circuit in Adria (I), and will resume next weekend with the second of the four rounds of the WSK Super Master Series: the replay of the race of Lonato will in fact take place on April 1st at the International Circuit Napoli in Sarno (Salerno, Italy). The weekend of Muro Leccese will therefore be the first chance to bounce back following the results of the opener that shaped up the initial classifications of the four categories on track: OK, OK Junior, KZ and 60 Mini
