After its world crown in 2019 to celebrate the brand's 60 years of existence, the Birel ART Racing Team is getting ready for more success in 2020. International high-level competition remains the scene of the most spectacular sporting and technical confrontations between the main chassis manufacturers, and Birel ART intends to showcase its skill by aiming for the top places in the four categories in which it is involved.

Confirmed drivers and new entries for the Kosmic Kart Racing Department, who in 2020 will get on track in the main international competitions of the OK and OKJ categories.

After defining the starting line up and the races calendar for the 2020 season of the Tony Kart Racing Team, the squad is ready to get on track for all the main international events of the 60 Mini, OKJ, OK and KZ /KZ2 classes. The Tony Kart Racing Team also presents the list of official drivers for the 2020-season.

Two months after the announcement of the launch of the Charles Leclerc chassis range produced by the Birel ART factory, the sporting season for the Lennox Racing team, which officially represents the colours of Charles Leclerc in racing, takes shape with a line-up of 11 drivers from seven different nations. Youth and experience are both represented within this exciting new challenge.

The 2020 drivers line-up will be presented in January together with the racing programmes, that will include the participation to all the FIA events and the main international meetings.

Registration about to start for the WSK Champions Cup and the WSK Super Master Series that are scheduled to kick off the 15^th karting season by WSK Promotion, in a month’s time. Online registration will be available from January 3^rd, on the website wsk.it.

Everything is ready now, in view of the 2020 season, for the debut of the structure by OTK Kart Group: the Exprit Racing Team, taking the Exprit chassis officially onto the track in the CIK-FIA and WSK competitions led by the World Champion Patrik Hajek.

From victory at the Winter Cup at the beginning of the season to successes in the WSK throughout the year, including a new European Championship, the Energy Corse brand and its official team completed a series of victorious meetings at the international level in 2019. All these trophies won by the drivers in the Energy Corse colours are the result of meticulous work to offer competitive equipment to the drivers, recognised technical knowledge and high quality racing team staff.

After a highly successful 2019 season – whose highlights included Emilien Denner’s victory at the FIA Karting International Super Cup, Bas Lammers winning the WSK Super Master Series championship, Anthony Abbasse’s victory in the Winter Cup and victory in Le Mans 24-hour race, Sodikart has opted to bolster its international ambitions and raise its profile on the world karting competition stage. 

Vega Tyres is chosen for class KZ2, OK Junior and Mini, whereas Bridgestone and Lecont for class OK. Panta will be the single supplier for fuel. The season is scheduled to start with the WSK Champions Cup, on the weekend of 26^th January, in Adria.

The official WSK Promotion Calendar of the 2020 karting season has been announced. The season begins in january with the KZ2, OK, OK Junior and 60 Mini categories on all the major Italian circuits and in all the  events of WSK Euro Series. main event at Adria with the night event on july 26^th.

During the last 2019 appointment, at the Adria Karting Raceway, the drivers of the Kosmic Kart Racing Department show all their potential and tenacity under unpredictable conditions, fighting also against a bit of bad luck.

In the WSK Final Cup run on the Adria Karting Raceway, Pedro Hiltbrand wins in the OK category ahead of Joseph Turney and Lorenzo Travisanutto. In OKJ, Nikita Bedrin ends on the second step of the podium.

The WSK Final Cup, the last international event of the 2019 season, was marked by wet and cool weather on the Adria circuit, with a constantly slippery surface. The Parolin Racing Kart team were not lacking good performances with Rashid Al Dhaheri's pole position in 60 Mini and Anatoly Khavalkin's 2nd place, Tymoteusz Kucharczyk's 3rd place in OK-Junior and Hugo Sasse's excellent results in OK.

Season finale with the WSK Final Cup: the winners are Lundberg (S – Luxor-TM KZ2), Hiltbrand  (E – Tony Kart-Vortex OK), Antonelli (I – KR-IAME OKJ) and Matveev (RUS – Energy-TM 60Mini). The next event of WSK Promotion is scheduled next year on 20th january with the WSK Champions Cup.

It is the end of a demanding and challenging season: the WSK Final Cup is the last event of the 14^th kart racing season promoted by WSK. The venue of the race is Adria (Italy); 230 drivers are expected to take part in the event, all of them eager to give their best and to show their skills of promising and talented protagonists of Motorsport. Next weekend, from 14^th to 17^th November, the Adria Karting Raceway is welcoming the four categories, KZ2, OK, OK Junior and 60 Mini, which are taking part in the single race test.
