The 2023 racing calendar introduces several novelties: from some new circuits involved to the new OK-N and OKJ-N, X30 Junior and X30 Senior to join MINI, OKJ, OK and KZ2

The WSK Final Cup 2022 will comprise two rounds: the first in Sarno on November 6th and the second in Lonato on November 13th.

The second round of the series at the South Garda Karting circuit of Lonato has been anticipated to November 13th.

After his successes and podiums in FIA Karting and in Champions of the Future, Tomass Stolcermanis led his Energy Corse-TM Racing team to 1st place in a WSK Promotion series organised over a single meeting in Lonato. In the difficult OK category, the young Latvian driver led the Final from the first to the last lap, to add his name to the list of winners of the latest WSK Open Cup.

The WSK Open Cup is a competition that the Birel ART Racing Team has often won. The Birel ART karts never lack performance on the demanding circuit of Lonato and the 2022 edition was no exception to the rule. Giuseppe Palomba, the top representative of his team, achieved a brilliant 2nd place in KZ2, while Kirill Kutskov made a remarkable debut in OK with his Birel ART-TM.

It has been a positive weekend for the CRG drivers who took part in the WSK Open Cup in Lonato, a single-trial event that opens the end-of-season appointments, where you can already feel that the 2023 season is about to begin, after both the OK and the KZ categories have competed in the FIA ​​World Championships in September.

Used as a test track throughout the year by the biggest international teams, South Garda Karting in Lonato once again revealed the qualities of the chassis from the Sodikart factory and its Racing Team, in partnership with CPB Sport. Emilien Denner gave a perfect performance in KZ2, winning another title in the WSK Open Cup.

The Champions of the WSK Open Cup 2022 are Hanna Hernandez (OKJ), Zulfikari (MINI), Denner (KZ2) and Stolcermanis (OK) at the end of an intense weekend.

After the new WSK Super Cup by Mini reserved to the youngest talents of karting, the South Garda Karting Circuit will welcome over 220 drivers to contest the WSK Open Cup of MINI, OKJ, OK and KZ2 in the weekend of October 2nd.
 

Qualifying stages are now over and next up are the finals of the WSK Open Cup in Lonato. The titles up for grabs are those of MINI, OKJ, OK and KZ2. Live TV coverage and Streaming on Sunday, October 2 from 10:50 and from 14:00.

Qualifying practice and initial heats of the single-round event of the WSK Open Cup have been run. The other qualifying heats will be run tomorrow to define the finalists that will compete on Sunday, October 2nd. At the same time as the FIA Karting World Championship in Le Mans, the first WSK Super Cup by MINI, a unique event for the international Mini category, took place in Southern Italy. From August 31st to September 3rd the circuit of La Conca welcomed 54 drivers from 22 countries.

The WSK Open Cup is going to take place in a single round scheduled for September 28 – October 2, 2022 at the South Garda Karting circuit of Lonato.

The Italian driver dominated the Final and is the first winner of the WSK Super Cup by MINI which was contested by drivers from 25 different countries. Hoogendoorn, Costoya, Toniolo and Sala completed the podium.

The young talents that will contest the first edition of the WSK Super Cup by MINI already made it onto the track at the La Conca circuit for the initial free practice sessions. This event is a new appointment completely dedicated to category MINI, which represents a good epilogue following the success that this category had in these past few years.

After the fastest times posted in qualifying practice by Busso, Sala and Hoogendoorn, the duel in the heats were restricted to Sala and Martinese. Live action is available on TV streaming on Saturday, September 3.
