After the heats on Friday and Saturday, the finalists of the WSK Champions Cup have been named in Lonato. All the racing action in Live Streaming on Sunday, January 21st from 9:20.

The initial heats named the new protagonists in Lonato. Qualifying heats will continue on Saturday, while the final stages will get underway on Sunday, January 21st with Live Streaming coverage.

Qualifying practice at the South Garda Karting in Lonato launched Blandino to the top of MINI Gr.3, Bissa in MINI U10, Lyzen in OKJ, Denner in KZ2, Pesl in OK, and Viapiana in OKNJ.

The WSK Champions Cup is gearing up to kick off in Lonato next January 17- 21, 2024 with about 280 drivers ready to challenge each other in MINI, OKNJ, OKJ, OK, and KZ2.

Everything is now ready for the first karting event of the year, the WSK Champions Cup that will take place at South Garda Karting in Lonato from January 17 to 21, 2024. With approximately 280 drivers already confirmed, it immediately establishes itself among the favorite races to kick off the new season. For this occasion, the MINI, OKNJ, OKJ, OK and KZ2 categories take to the track, featuring the most qualified manufacturers and teams, along with many innovations in the competitive evolution of the drivers – from category transitions among the youngest to new experiences for the more experienced drivers.

MyLaps will be on the track in the first events of the season in Lonato, Cremona and Franciacorta to provide transponders for those who do not already have one.

The registration opening for the first 2024 WSK events will begin from the 3rd of January for the one related to the WSK Champions Cup taking place from 18 to 21 January 2024 at the South Garda Karting in Lonato. The same registration date for the WSK Super Master Series is scheduled from 25 to 28 January, again in Lonato.

The informal chat with CRG owner Giancarlo Tinini is a classic end-of-year event, a meeting in which it is time to take stock of the season that has just ended, looking at the year that is about to begin by talking about objectives, both sporting and commercial. This is also a very interesting chance for dealing with general topics concerning karting, thanks to authoritative opinions and points of view, consolidated in over 40 years of experience in high-level karting.

The Tony Kart Racing Team anticipates next season with the announcement of the 22 official drivers (divided in the categories MINI, OKJ, OK and KZ/KZ2) who will be involved in the main international competitions.

The pressure of competition will ease over the next two months for Parolin Motorsport, which will be able to devote itself entirely to preparing for 2024. The 2023 season ended positively for the Italian brand thanks to strong performances in the main categories at the second round of the WSK Final Cup on the Franciacorta circuit.

On the occasion of the second round of the WSK Final Cup, the Tony Kart Racing Team obtains a double success thanks to their drivers Sebastiano Pavan (OK) and Ilie Tristan Crisan (MINI Gr.3), the latter also author of the best time in the qualifyings. Podium also for Tom Leuillet, the fastest in the chrono practices of KZ2 category.

In OK, the KR brand never goes very long without winning a title. This time, it was Dmitry Matveev's turn to be crowned at the end of a well-controlled meeting. At Franciacorta, it wasn't just the KR Motorsport team that took the podium, as VDK Racing with Thibaut Ramaekers and DPK Racing with Niklas Schaufler in OK-Junior finished their season in style.

The second round of the WSK Final Cup, the last sporting event of the international season, has just finished on the Franciacorta circuit. Despite the harshness of the competition, Birel ART recorded a number of positive points when it came to preparing for next season.

In the second and closing round at Franciacorta, the titles went to: Trefilov (KZ2), Matveev (OK), Van Langendonck (OKJ), Walz (MINI Gr.3), Miron (MINI Gr.3 U10), Ferrari (OK-N) and Cosma-Cristofor (OKNJ- sub-judice).

The WSK Final Cup of Lonato will not take place on October 6th, but rather on November 10th, 2024.  The second race in Cremona has been confirmed for November, 24th.
