The KR chassis are already enjoying a string of successes at the start of the season. Oleksandr Bondarev (Prema Racing) in OK and Niklas Schaufler (DPK Racing) in OK-Junior won the WSK Champions Cup on 21st January and repeated the feat a week later, again on the Lonato circuit. However, the competition was even tougher at the opening round of the WSK Super Master Series 2024! But the most important thing to note was that many other drivers in the colours of KR Global Motorsport Company put in solid performances.

Christian Costoya claimed his first podium of the 2024 season on the second race weekend, the WSK Super Master Series at Lonato. Temperatures remained cold, but the weather was fine. The number of drivers had increased since the WSK Champions Cup and the competition was really intense on the 1200 m of the famous Italian track.

Fortec Motorsports has confirmed that Australian Jack Taylor will race with the team in the GB4 Championship this season.

The finals in Lonato were won by Bertuca in KZ2, Bondarev in OK, Schaufler in OKJ, Bogdan Cosma Cristofor in OKNJ, Blandino in MINI Gr.3 and Nellegard in MINI Gr.3 U10.

The WSK Master Series is a classic early-season event and will end in the short period between the end of January and the beginning of March. For the international karting drivers and teams, these ones will be important races to prepare for the FIA events season and to evaluate the 2024 materials through direct comparison on the track.

With 33 confirmed drivers, the official CRG Team promises to be one of the biggest and most competitive for the 2024 international karting season. The CRG Racing Team, which as announced last December, will be coordinated from a technical and organizational point of view by Natalia Balbo and Brandon Nilsson, will be able to count on a mix of experienced drivers and ambitious young ones in all categories.

The 2023 season was full of success for the KR Global Motorsport Company factory in the international categories and the results of the first major event of 2024 confirmed this trend, already auguring many successes to come. At the WSK Champions Cup in Lonato, the chassis won two titles, with Niklas Schaufler (DPK Racing) in OK-Junior and Oleksander Bondarev (Prema Racing) in OK, a category that ended with four KR-IAMEs in the top four places!

Parolin Motorsport returned to action last weekend at the first round of the 2024 international season, the WSK Champions Cup, held in cold weather at the Lonato circuit. Three categories were on the programme for the official Parolin team, with the return of KZ2 scheduled for a later date. Christian Costoya was very competitive in OK-Junior, among the contenders for victory. Anatoly Khavalkin also came close to success in OK. The team's final score after the various ups and downs of the race was one top five and three top 10s, but more importantly, the technical level of Parolin / TM Racing 2024 is already very interesting.

The very first race of the 2024 season has just finished at Lonato. The WSK Champions Cup saw some intense battles in cold conditions. The first results of the event are in: Birel ART is already among the most competitive with Bertuca's podium in KZ2 and 2nd place for Eyckmans in OK.

With six drivers entered in OK-Junior and four in Mini U10, the Energy Corse line-up was in fine form for the first major international event of the season: the WSK Champions Cup, held from 19th to 21st January at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato.

The first titles of the season have been awarded in Lonato to Kajak in KZ2, Bondarev in OK, Schaufler in OKJ, Blandino in MINI Gr.3, Perico in MINI Gr.3 U10 and Ruykov in OKNJ. The next round will be on January 25-28 in Lonato for the opening of the WSK Super Master Series.

The WSK Champions Cup is gearing up to kick off in Lonato this weekend with about 280 drivers ready to challenge each other in MINI, OKNJ, OKJ, OK, and KZ2. An excellent lineup of drivers will include the most qualified teams for this season opener, featuring many young talents, some of whom were winners in the previous edition.
