The second day of races at Cremona Circuit saw the conclusion of most of the qualifying heats among the over 300 drivers present in the second round of the WSK Super Master Series. The event proved to be quite challenging due to light but bothersome rain.

Qualifying heats on Friday have been spoiled by the rain, but nearly all leaders of qualifying practice confirmed their pace.

Qualifying practice unfolded with confirmations and surprising results in the second round of the WSK Super Master Series.

After the first round in Lonato, it is now the turn of the Cremona Circuit to host the second event of the WSK Super Master Series from February 7th to 11th. This championship consists of 4 rounds organized by WSK Promotion and will continue with the last two stages at Franciacorta on February 18th and will conclude in Sarno on Saturday, March 2nd.

The second round of the WSK Super Master Series is set to kick off on the weekend of February 11th.

The race will get underway from February 7th to 11th at the Cremona Circuit and will be valid for KZ2, OK, OKJ, OKNJ, MINI Gr.3 and MINI Gr.3 U10.

The first race of the season for the Tony Kart Racing Team was at South Garda Karting for the first round of the WSK Super Master Series, with their official driver Sebastiano Pavan achieving the podium finish in the OK category. Furthermore, first place was also achieved for the Rookie chassis in the MINI Gr.3 U10 class.

The KR chassis are already enjoying a string of successes at the start of the season. Oleksandr Bondarev (Prema Racing) in OK and Niklas Schaufler (DPK Racing) in OK-Junior won the WSK Champions Cup on 21st January and repeated the feat a week later, again on the Lonato circuit. However, the competition was even tougher at the opening round of the WSK Super Master Series 2024! But the most important thing to note was that many other drivers in the colours of KR Global Motorsport Company put in solid performances.

Christian Costoya claimed his first podium of the 2024 season on the second race weekend, the WSK Super Master Series at Lonato. Temperatures remained cold, but the weather was fine. The number of drivers had increased since the WSK Champions Cup and the competition was really intense on the 1200 m of the famous Italian track.

Fortec Motorsports has confirmed that Australian Jack Taylor will race with the team in the GB4 Championship this season.

The finals in Lonato were won by Bertuca in KZ2, Bondarev in OK, Schaufler in OKJ, Bogdan Cosma Cristofor in OKNJ, Blandino in MINI Gr.3 and Nellegard in MINI Gr.3 U10.

Over 330 drivers will be gathering at the South Garda Karting in Lonato from January 24th to 28th for the first of the 4 rounds of the WSK Super Master Series with a lot of world-class protagonists. The entitled categories are MINI, OKNJ, OKJ, OK, and KZ2.

After the heats on Friday and Saturday, the classification is led by Bertuca in KZ2, Bondarev in OK, Schaufler in OKJ, Bogdan Cosma Cristoforin OKNJ, Miron Lorente in MINI Gr.3, Nellegard and Perico in MINI Gr.3 U10. TV Live Streaming coverage on Sunday, January 28th.

The best performances in qualifying practice were set by Costoya in OKJ, Bogdan Cosma Cristofor in OKNJ, Miron Lorente in MINI Gr.3, Nellegard in MINI Gr.3 U10, Denner in KZ2, and Bondarev in OK. The WSK Master Series is a classic early-season event and will end in the short period between the end of January and the beginning of March. For the international karting drivers and teams, these ones will be important races to prepare for the FIA events season and to evaluate the 2024 materials through direct comparison on the track.
