On the occasion of the second and last appointment of the WSK Open Series, their Tony Kart Rookie hits a wonderful double win with Leonardo Gorski, first in the MINI Gr.3, and Achille Rea, indisputable leader in the MINI Gr.3 U10.

With almost a third of the field equipped with French chassis, Sodi was by far the most represented brand in KZ2 at La Conca for the second and final round of the WSK Open Series. A regular at the front, Emilien Denner was undoubtedly one of the protagonists of the meeting. A superb 2nd in the Final, he returned to 3rd in the Championship, while Senna Van Walstijn secured 2nd place. Thanks to Mattéo Spirgel and Giuseppe Palomba, the French brand placed four chassis in the top 10 of both the Final and the Championship.

The grand finale of the series will take place on Saturday, May 11th with the title decider for KZ2, KZ2 Masters, OK-N, OK-NJ, MINI Gr.3 and MINI Gr.3 U10. The first event held last month at the Franciacorta Karting Track saw the OK-N and OK-N Junior categories take to the track together for the first time in a WSK Promotion weekend, established by FIA Karting to facilitate the entry of drivers into OK and OKJ.

The conclusion of the WSK Open Series will award the titles on Saturday, May 11th at the International Circuit La Conca.

Due to ongoing renovation works at the Viterbo Circuit not yet completed, the WSK Super Cup/National Trophy and the single round of the Italian KZN Championship will take place at Franciacorta on the same dates of September 6-8.

The 2024 WSK Open Series kicked off in Franciacorta with a large field of 82 drivers in the KZ2 category and a sensational overall result for the Sodikart brand: victory for Senna Van Walstijn, two Sodi chassis on the podium and six in the top 12! The French team, with the support of CPB Sport, provided their drivers with particularly high-performance equipment for this major international event.

The victory went to Van Walstijn (KZ2), Forè (KZ2 Masters), Berezkin (OK-NJ), Marchesi (OK-N), Truchot (MINI Gr.3) and Perico (MINI Gr.3 U10).

After the heats, the lead is held by Van Walstijn (KZ2), Forè (KZ2 Masters), Perico (MINI U10), Pilipenco (MINI Gr.3), Manni (OKNJ) and Marchesi (OKN). The final stages with Live Streaming coverage will be on Sunday, April 7th.
