Salutes and welcome to the 20^th edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF) hosted at the international acclaimed Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno. This year we are celebrating our 20^th anniversary in this beautiful region of Italy, which is well known for its rich cultural heritage sites, the wonderful Amalfi Coast and very good Italian food. The prestigious race event will see 360 drivers from almost 60 countries competing this week to be on the top of the podium.

BRP-Rotax is proud to announce that for the upcoming season in 2020, it will introduce several upgrades to both the Micro MAX and Mini MAX engine configuration, which will achieve four main objectives: · Ease of use & installation · Less sensitive operation · More cost-effective · Limit manipulation of components. These improvements further align the parity of the Rotax engine packages and ensure a more level playing field for our youngest RMC competitors.

With third place in the fourth round of the DEKM, the German Electric Kart Championship, Jort Coone again proved to be one of the certain front-runners in the international field contesting the 2019 title. This was a huge boost for the young Dutch driver because the 15-year old from Lemmer had never actually raced on the challenging Ampfing circuit before while having no time more recently for any further testing due to his studies.

The 2019 Senior Max Champion, Mathilda Olsson (Strawberry Racing), is racing on a Sodi Kart chassis at the final round of the RACB Championship Rotax Max Challenge Belgium, which is being held at Karting Genk: Home of Champions. Olssen is busy preparing for this year’s ROTAX - New Age Karting Grand Finals in Sarno, where the Max Senior-class will race on Sodi Kart.

After another exciting racing season for the Rotax Max Euro Trophy in 2019, which visited four great venues this year and lasted around five months, the newly-revamped calendar again goes to four premium tracks across the European landscape, starting next Easter. The calendar was announced live via the championship’s official Facebook page on the evening of the season’s penultimate day of racing in Germany. 
 

After stops in Adria (Italy) and Kristianstad (Sweden), the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy travelled to Wackersdorf, Germany, from September 6th to 8th. In the modern facility of the Prokart Raceland, the Rotax elite once again gathered for the big finale of the year and was challenged by changeable weather conditions throughout the weekend. Yet the 1,190-metre long circuit in Bavaria kept dry most of the time and once again proved to be the perfect soil for exciting and action-packed racing, which in the end did not only ascertain some new winners but four worthy champions and seven delegates for the RMC Grand Finals in Sarno (IT) in October ...

By partnering with 3MK Events and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO), BRP-Rotax has had an unquestionable success with the launch of its new world-class event at the Le Mans circuit. Almost 300 drivers, 44 countries, five continents, impeccable organisation, a magnificent circuit, thrilling races, a magical atmosphere, prizes and much more, led to delighted participants returning with a smile and with a greater desire than ever to continue their kart racing programme in the Rotax categories.

A legendary track from the 1970s-1990s can claim to have seen the future stars of motorsport in their infancy at several World Karting Championships. Ayrton Senna in 1978, Michael Schumacher in 1985, Jarno Trulli in 1991, as well as Giancarlo Fisichella, Jos Verstappen, Allan McNish, Emmanuel Collard, Benoit Treluyer and Sebastien Bourdais who became famous among others on 1172m of the Alain Prost Circuit.

For its first edition, the Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy was the scene of powerful sporting clashes from Thursday 22nd to Friday 23rd August at the Le Mans Karting International Circuit. After 42 Qualifying Heats, the six categories in contention finally revealed the order of their finalists, who will all be back on track on Saturday, 24th August for the big closing day of this new major event of the season.

For its first edition, the Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy is already attracting drivers, teams and coaches from around the world. While the Qualifying sessions have just finished, the pleasure of participating in the new world-wide Rotax event is obvious in the Le Mans paddock. Three weeks after a thrilling racing weekend in Kerpen, the German Electric Kart Championship is going to continue in Belgian Genk from 2^nd to 4^th of August. There, the drivers from seven nations are going to start into the second half of the season of the first Electric Kart Championship in the world.

In the middle of the summer month of July (12^th – 14^th) the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy headed northwards. Six weeks after the outstanding season kick-off at the Italian Adria International Karting Raceway, the Asum-Ring in Kristianstad, Sweden, was the next top race track in the calendar of Europe's professional RMC karting series. 85 drivers from around 20 nations made their journey to Scandinavia to compete in the 2019 mid-season event on the 1,234 metre circuit. The spectators on-site, as well as the fans watching the live stream, witnessed some thrilling battles throughout the weekend program, at the end of which some new faces were added to the European Rotax winners’ list while the first champion was crowned as well.

From May 31 to June 2, the waiting was finally over: The Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy 2019 kicked off its second year. In April, the series had already given an impressive foretaste of the season with a successful Open race format at Genk, Belgium. Now, round one officially opened the championship in Italy. Therefore, the choice fell on the ultra-modern track of the Adria Karting Raceway not far from Venice

The First round of the Rotax Max Euro Trophy will be held this weekend in Italy. Adria International Raceway is ready for over 130 drivers in four classes set to battle in the Veneto region over the coming weekend!
