UAE Rotax MAX Challenge 2019-20 ROUND 8 will be held 25-26 September 2020. The organization reports the following: "Despite this unprecedented period amidst lockdown and isolation, we have something tangible to look forward to! The Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy has responded to the ongoing corona pandemic and revised the 2020 calendar again.

BRP-Rotax yearly recognizes the efforts of its karting distributors to demonstrate sales achievements linked with operational excellence that lead to strengthen BRP-Rotax’s sales and marketing efforts in respective areas around the world. In times like this when our world changes in increasing pace it is even more important to acknowledge the outstanding work of its partners. BRP-Rotax therefore proudly announced the top three members of the BRP-Rotax 2019 Karting Distributor of the Year Award:

1st place: JAG Engineering, UK

2nd place: SODIKART S.A., France

3rd place: International Karting Distributors (IKD), Australia

Around 150 drivers headed to the "Home Of Champions" in the first weekend of March, representing 16 different nations, to battle against the very best in Rotax racing circles, with six different classes in action.

Motorsport UK, the British Kart Championships and all associated stakeholders have collectively agreed to postpone the start of the 2020 season until 1 May at the earliest.

It is with great regret that Rotax Max South Africa have been forced to postpone the first national of 2020 due to the Corona Virus restrictions.

Karting Australia, International Karting Distributors and the Go-Kart Club of Victoria advises that the opening round of the 2020 Rotax Pro Tour, scheduled for this weekend (March 21/22), has been postponed.

Best prepared, the modern karting complex of Campillos near Malaga was a perfect venue for the season kick-off – a challenging 1,588 metres long track with professional facilities for all involved. And even the weather was perfect. A sunny but windy weekend with temperatures of about 18° C guaranteed best race conditions for the drivers who were heading for victory in the categories of Micro MAX, Junior MAX, Senior MAX, MAX DD2 and MAX DD2 Masters.

With its long straight and some spectacular up- and downhill sections, it is a challenging track with a very professional infrastructure. The kart track is internationally certified by the CIK-FIA and has a leisure and enjoyment area of about 120,000 square meters.

The new website is online, the registration is open for the Micro Max (Age of 7 to 11 Years / 8th birthday in 2020) and Mini Max (Age of 9 to 13 Years / 10th birthday in 2020) Grand Festival 2020. The Parolin Rocky class (Age of 7 to 10 Years) has been added to this amazing event.
