BRP-Rotax is thrilled to announce that CIK-FIA Approval has been confirmed for the Rotax E20 electric powertrain. This makes the new generation power unit the first ever E-Kart to be awarded this level of certification in karting. Adding to this ground-breaking news, the Rotax E20 championship at the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy becomes the first CIK-FIA Approved International Series for Electrically Powered Karts worldwide in 2024.

The official chassis partners for the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals 2024 have now been confirmed, as BRP-Rotax announces the manufacturers who will support all the qualified competitors with their brand new karts at the annual flagship event.

Registrations are open for the second round of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy, scheduled at ProKart Raceland in Wackersdorf from June 7th to 9th.

The second edition of the Swedish Championship for the Rotax E20 E-Kart will take place at the new Gellerasen Arena karting track at Karlskoga, incorporated into Sweden’s oldest motor racing circuit, on August 15-17. Two Rotax E20 classes will be closely contested at the historical ‘Kanonloppet’ (Canon Race), which was first run almost 75 years ago, together with the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia and an extensive motorsport program with an estimated 10,000 spectators attending. There are RMC Grand Finals 2024 tickets, trophies, prizemoney plus a Porsche watch to be won!

The 10 Qualifying Practices sessions officially kick off the first round of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy. Over the 1360 meters of Karting Genk: The Home of Champions, the traditional opening round venue of the RMCET, 239 drivers vied for pole position in the 5 classes involved in the event.

A combined South African Rotax Max National season opener and the annual winner-takes-all wildcard African Open delivered epic karting at Cape Town’s Killarney Kart Track over the weekend. Last weekend, KartCenter Campillos hosted the first edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Cup organized by WSK Promotion. The mixed weather conditions added an extra layer of excitement to the already thrilling racing spectacle, with rain and sunshine alternating throughout the weekend, providing a true test of the drivers’ skills.
