Thomas Ingram Hill returns to Fortec Motorsports for GB4 Championship title challenge

Fortec Motorsports has confirmed that Thomas Ingram Hill will return to the team for the 2026 season as he aims to fight for the GB4 Championship title.

The 16-year-old already has the equivalent of two seasons of single-seater experience, having raced with the team in GB4 and at selected rounds of the F4 British Championship throughout 2025, while prior to open-wheel competition, he competed in the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2024.

Tom adapted quickly to GB4 machinery, recording top-ten finishes across his opening two race weekends while managing the transition to single-seater racing. His progression became increasingly evident as the season unfolded, and from round nine onwards, his average finishing position rose to fifth, highlighted by memorable podiums at Silverstone and Donington Park.

Alongside his GB4 campaign, Tom also gained valuable mileage in British F4, further broadening his technical understanding and race experience. The partnership now resumes with clear ambition, as Fortec Motorsports - two-time GB4 Drivers' Champions and winners of the 2020 British F4 Drivers’ title and 2025 Challenge Cup - seeks to add further silverware to its impressive record.

The 2026 GB4 Championship season begins at Silverstone on April 25-26, launching a seven-event, 21-race calendar at some of the UK’s most prestigious circuits.

Oliver Dutton, Team Principal: “Tom made huge strides last season. His learning curve was steep, he rose to it impressively, and by the second half of the year, he was a consistent podium threat. With continuity, experience, and a focused testing programme behind him, he has everything he needs to race at the front from round one. We believe he can be a title contender in 2026.”

Thomas Ingram Hill: “I’m really excited to be back with Fortec for my first full push for the GB4 title. Last season was all about learning, and now it’s about converting that into results. I feel settled in the car and the team and I know what it takes to run at the sharp end. Silverstone can’t come soon enough.”
