CPB Sport and the Sodi / TM machines have already taken the lead in the Team Championship. The drivers entered in KZ also battled at the front throughout the Spanish competition.

The weather remained sunny in the Valencia region, with temperatures rising for the day's Qualifying Heats. Drivers and machines were put through their paces in Saturday's 13 races, which produced a large number of passes and twists and turns. This weekend, the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve witnessed the crowning of three FIA Champions following a fierce competition that saw a variety of track conditions.

Following their excellent results in the FIA Karting European Championship in the Shifter categories, Sodi chassis continued their haul of success on the Portimao circuit in southern Portugal. Anthony Abbasse, who dominated the KZ2 Masters, won the Champions of the Future Shifter 2024 title.

Races in the gearbox categories are always unique in their intensity. In the rewarding setting of MotorLand Aragón, the first round of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship - KZ, KZ2 & KZ2 Masters confirmed this impression throughout the breathless meeting. On Sunday afternoon, Senna Van Walstijn (NLD) in KZ, Daniel Vasile (ROU) in KZ2 and Anthony Abbasse (FRA) in KZ2 Masters were rewarded for their Final victories.

The first FIA Karting meeting in the KZ categories began with a true verdict on the Sodi chassis, which took the lead in the three European KZ, KZ2 and KZ2-Masters Championships. On the MotorLand Aragón circuit in Alcañiz, Senna Van Walstijn dominated the KZ Final with the official team.

The Qualifying Heats of the first round of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship - KZ, KZ2 & KZ2 Masters began in fine, warm weather on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, but ended in the rain late on Saturday afternoon at the Spanish circuit of MotorLand Aragón. On Saturday evening, Tom Leuillet (FRA) in KZ, Matteo Sprigel (FRA) in KZ2 and Davide Foré (ITA) in KZ2 Masters were leading the intermediate rankings ahead of Sunday morning's Super Heats.

The first round of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship - KZ, KZ2 & KZ2 Masters got underway at the MotorLand Aragón circuit in Spain with an intense Qualifying Practice in the early afternoon of Friday 5th July.
