A few weeks after a very successful trip to Campillos, the teams using equipment from the Kart Republic factory perfectly mastered the specifics of the Algarve international circuit in Portimao and those of Maxxis tyres. The second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series ended with an impressive domination by the KR-IAME teams. Brilliantly supported by their teams, with their recognised skills and professionalism, the drivers went on to successfully complete their mission in several instances. Italy's Iacopo Martinese in OK and Great Britain's Noah Baglin in OK-Junior won the Finals, which saw two trebles for the Italian brand.

Noah Baglin (OK-Junior) and Iacopo Martinese (OK) won the Finals in Portimao with flying colours, Henry Domain took the overall lead in the 12-14 age group, while Martinese is now the leader in OK.

With the Prema Racing team and IAME engines, KR chassis dominated the first of four rounds of the FIA Karting European Championships in OK and OK-Junior. Despite threatening skies, with an occasional few drops of rain, the 173 drivers were able to use slick tyres from the first to the last session. In southern Spain, Chiara Battig (SUI) took pole position in the OK class, while Iskender Zulfikari (TUR) was fastest in the OK-Junior class.

With 96 drivers entered in OK and 91 in OK-Junior in the first of five rounds of the Champions of the Future Euro Series, top 10 places in the Final were extremely hard to come by. The teams using KR chassis and IAME engines clearly worked in the right direction, as the rankings showed seven OK and six OK-Junior drivers in the top 10 of the Finals. In 2025, the aim will be to retain the OK title in this RGMMC series and to win back the OK-Junior crown. All qualifying heats have been run. The final stages with TV Live streaming will be on Sunday, March 16th: Prefinals from 10:00 and Finals from 13:00.

After two action-packed days, everything led to Super Heats and Finals in Valencia. The Super Heats offered drivers a final opportunity to secure the best possible grid position for the ultimate showdown. Then, in the Finals, the top contenders went head-to-head in a battle for victory. With daring overtakes, intense last-lap fights, and standout performances, the IAME Winter Cup 2025 came to a breathtaking conclusion, capping off an unforgettable weekend of racing.

After Friday’s timed qualifying sessions, Saturday was all about the battle for grid positions in the qualifying heats. With 24 intense races in the X30 Mini, X30 Junior and X30 Senior categories throughout the day, drivers fought hard to secure the best possible ranking for Sunday’s Super Heats. Every heat counted, as finishing positions translated into crucial points that would determine the starting order for the decisive final phases.

After the final non-qualifying practice sessions, Friday officially kicked off the 2025 IAME Winter Cup at Kartodromo Valencia with timed qualifying practice. Drivers had just a few laps to push to the limit, setting their fastest times to secure the best starting positions for the upcoming Qualifying Heats.
