Ean Eyckmans to join Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine with RPM

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is set to welcome a new addition to its competitive grid, as Belgian driver Ean Eyckmans will step up to the series with RPM for the next round of the 2025 season.

After a successful karting career, Eyckmans made his first steps in single-seaters last October by winning the prestigious Richard Mille Driver Academy selection event held at Jerez de la Frontera. That milestone paved the way for his debut in the Spanish F4 Championship this year, where he has already proven his talent by securing seven podium finishes in twelve races, placing fourth in the overall standings and leading the Rookie classification.

Ean Eyckmans commented:

"I'm very excited to be racing in FRECA with RPM for the next two rounds! It will definitely be a big challenge, especially with no testing beforehand, but I'm ready to learn and make the most of this opportunity. Huge thanks to RPM and All Road Management for believing in me and giving me this opportunity to compete at such a high level. I’m incredibly grateful and motivated to make the most of it.”

RPM Team Principal Keith Donegan shared his enthusiasm for the new signing:

"We are excited to welcome Ean to RPM. He has been impressive so far this season in Spanish F4 and we are looking forward to see him in the FRECA car. Budapest will be his first time driving it, so he will have a lot to learn, but I think he can develop quickly. Let’s get to work!”

Eyckmans will make his Formula Regional debut at the Hungaroring round, where he will face the challenge of competing on one of Europe’s most technical circuits.
