The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is set to welcome a new addition to its competitive grid, as Belgian driver Ean Eyckmans will step up to the series with RPM for the next round of the 2025 season.
 

After a successful karting career, Eyckmans made his first steps in single-seaters last October by winning the prestigious Richard Mille Driver Academy selection event held at Jerez de la Frontera. That milestone paved the way for his debut in the Spanish F4 Championship this year, where he has already proven his talent by securing seven podium finishes in twelve races, placing fourth in the overall standings and leading the Rookie classification.
 

Ean Eyckmans commented:

"I'm very excited to be racing in FRECA with RPM for the next two rounds! It will definitely be a big challenge, especially with no testing beforehand, but I'm ready to learn and make the most of this opportunity. Eyckmans will make his Formula Regional debut at the Hungaroring round, where he will face the challenge of competing on one of Europe’s most technical circuits.
