Brazilian pole-sitter Rafael Camara took home the first victory of the season for Prema Racing. Camara dominated Race 1, maintaining control from the pole position with a perfect get away when the lights went out. He managed the race and built a gap, encountering no issues even during the restart from the Safety Car period caused by a race incident between Josh Dufek (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport) at Les Combes. After the brief neutralization, the race resumed for the final lap assault, and Camara sealed the deal, securing his first win in the series co-managed by Alpine and ACI Sport.

The Tatuus cars of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine return to the track at Spa-Francorchamps for the second qualifying session, which determines the grid for Race 1, starting today at 14:50. The Group B took to the track first. The track, still not completely drained in some areas due to heavy overnight rain, is declared wet. However, the conditions are dry enough not to pose any problems for the slick Pirelli tires. Tim Tramnitz from R-ace GP, who was already the pole-sitter for Race 2, set the fastest time and claimed the provisional pole position with a time of 2’15.554.
