The first edition of the Swedish Rotax E10 Mini Series featured at the Gelleråsen Arena during the legendary Kanonloppet (Canon Race) over the weekend of August 13-15, 2026, marking the historic launch of the highly anticipated E-Kart category.

The history-making CIK-FIA Approval of the Rotax E-Powertrain is fundamental for BRP-Rotax, who remains at the forefront of shaping the future of electric kart racing with the E20 E-Kart.

BRP-Rotax is thrilled to announce that CIK-FIA Approval has been confirmed for the Rotax E20 electric powertrain. This makes the new generation power unit the first ever E-Kart to be awarded this level of certification in karting. Adding to this ground-breaking news, the Rotax E20 championship at the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy becomes the first CIK-FIA Approved International Series for Electrically Powered Karts worldwide in 2024.

BRP-Rotax is glad to announce the first Electric Kart Cup Portugal which is organized by the FPAK (the Portuguese ASN) in cooperation with our long-term partner and authorized Rotax Karting distributor Korridas e Kompanhia and will take place at the Portimao circuit from October 21^st to 23^rd, 2022.
