The 2019 FIA Karting World Championship - OK and Junior will take place in Finland from 6th to 8th September at the Alahärmä Powerpark circuit. A much-anticipated event for this country of motorsport enthusiasts, the major world event promises to be full of suspense on a spectacular and fast track with a big field of more than 200 Drivers, gathering the best talents from 44 nations on five continents.
Some of the greatest talents in karting will compete in Finland this weekend for the 2019 FIA Karting World Championship in the OK and OK Junior categories. Organised by AKK, the Finnish ASN, the Flying Finn Race will take place at the PowerPark circuit at Alahärma near Kauhava. It will be the first time that the prestigious titles have been decided in Finland, a country with a rich history in what is a historic and important area of motorsport.
It was not until the last Final of the season that the FIA Karting European Champions - OK & Junior 2019 were decided. Strategy was at the heart of the Le Mans Competition where the battles were numerous and spectacular. The 2018 OK World Champion Lorenzo Travisanutto won his first European title, while the youngster Marcus Amand was crowned Junior European Champion to close a particularly tough weekend.
The second Competition of the FIA Karting European Championship - OK & Junior was very complex to manage for the participants in the Kart Grand Prix of Belgium in Genk. The rain spared none of the three days of racing, however, the Finals were, fortunately, able to take place on a dry track. Marcus Amand (FRA) won in Junior and Lorenzo Travisnutto (ITA) won the OK Final with a strong lead just before a storm.

WSK Super Master Series heading to Angerville (F) on April 28th with the new leaders: Beganovic (S – Tony Kart-Vortex OK), Bedrin (RUS – Tony Kart-Vortex OKJ) and Macintyre (GB – Parolin-TM 60mini). Puhakka (FIN - Tony Kart-Vortex) to defend the lead in KZ2 at Lonato on June 23rd.
