After a season start concentrated on the Lonato track, the second round of the WSK Super Master Series allowed the Birel ART Racing team to enrich its database on a less commonly-used track, that of Franciacorta, where the FIA Karting World Championships will take place next October. The “Red Power” KZ2s once again shone in the face of strong competition. Cristian Bertuca took a good 2nd place and kept his leadership in the championship while four Birel ART drivers finished in the top 10. Kirill Kutskov in OK and Gerasim Skulanov in OK-Junior also performed well on a demanding track.

In all categories, the Birel ART-TM Racing teams performed extremely well on the Le Mans circuit in the major World meeting for the gearbox categories. The Italian Cristian Bertuca achieved the best result of the team by taking the second step of the podium in the KZ2 World Cup. A top three finish was also possible in KZ at this event, where the large number of spectators and the media clearly put karting on the map.

The heat wave currently raging in Europe has not spared northern Italy, where the second and final round of the FIA Karting European Championship - KZ & KZ2 and the second of the three rounds of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy will be held this weekend at the new international circuit of Cremona. Sunday's programme has been adapted accordingly. Pedro Hiltbrand (ESP) dominated the KZ class, while Moritz Ebner (ITA) was the leader in KZ2. The battle for the titles promises to be full of suspense. In the Academy, Matias Orjuela (COL) and Thibaut Ramaekers (BEL) are neck-and-neck.

In a different setting to the WSK Promotion races held up to now, Birel ART showed the extent of its potential in all conditions. The Winter Series was a difficult weekend  with no lack of technical problems and numerous incidents punctuated the races. Despite this, Giuseppe Palomba managed to reach 2nd place in KZ2, Harley Keeble made an exceptional comeback in OK while Kirill Kutskov fought for a long time in the OK-Junior top three.

Birel ART Racing confirmed its excellent level of performance in the second round of the WSK Super Master Series at Lonato this weekend as the battle raged in all categories. Within an exceptionally large field, the Red Army showed great bravery despite the not always favourable circumstances. Hiltbrand was very consistent in the top five in KZ2, Pasiewicz and Keeble were close to the top 10 in OK while Kutskov was the fastest in the OK-Junior Final.

Birel ART made a great start to the 2022 season at the Lonato track in the opening round of the WSK Super Master Series. With a renewed line-up of 14 drivers, the Birel ART Racing Team showed an exciting level of performance in all three international categories. Pedro Hiltbrand reached 2nd place in the KZ2 Final, Kirill Kutskov finished 3rd on the OK-Junior podium while Cristian Bertuca came close to the top five in OK.

Edition 2021 of the IAME Warriors Final successfully ended at the Adria Karting Raceway on Saturday, October 23 after four days of intense competition and a participation of 300 of the best drivers of the national IAME series from 29 countries. The great spectacle of the world IAME event at the Adria Karting Raceway is now underway, as the initial qualifying heats have kept drivers busy on Thursday, October 21st after the exciting qualifying practice sessions held yesterday. The goal is to narrow down the 300 drivers that gathered in Adria from 29 different countries for this spectacular event and define the list of the “elected” ones that will fight for the IWF21 titles of categories X30 Mini, X30 Junior, X30 Senior, X30 Master and the shifter Z-I on Saturday. The selection process will involve 44 qualifying heats: 26 on Thursday and 18 on Friday.

The world event by IAME kicked off in fine style in Adria on Wednesday, October 20th, with qualifying practice that named the first protagonists of this great international event. Several battles decided by thousandths of a second gave the first taste of what is ahead before the grand finale on Saturday: great challenges and competition among 300 best drivers selected from the national series of 29 countries. Five categories will be on track: namely, X30 Mini, X30 Junior, X30 Senior, X30 Master and for the first time this year also the shifter Z-I.

At the conclusion of the WSK Open Cup in Adria from 1st to 3rd October, the Birel ART Racing Team had several reasons to be satisfied. Tymoteusz Kucharczyk's total domination and Cristian Bertuca's top performances in OK were accompanied by Giuseppe Palomba's superb victory in KZ2 which earned him the Championship.

Giuseppe Palomba came very close to shining in the first round of the WSK Open Cup held in Lonato from 17th to 19th September. The competition, which opened the closing part of the season, confirmed the competitiveness of the Birel ART chassis with TM Racing engines in all categories and in all conditions, with rain interfering with the racing on Sunday morning. Despite several incidents, the official Birel ART Racing team took plenty of top 10 results.

For the second consecutive year, the Birel ART factory has been crowned FIA Karting European Champion in the premier KZ category. After his brilliant victory in Germany, Riccardo Longhi won the title after constant effort and perfect teamwork. In Italy, the Birel ART chassis also distinguished itself with the Charles Leclerc by Lennox Racing team. 2nd in the Final ahead of his team-mate Viktor Gustavsson, Pedro Hiltbrand became European vice-champion, while the young Laurens Van Hoepen finished the European KZ2 Championship in 3rd position.

After its success in the WSK Champions Cup, the team led by Jordon Lennox-Lamb also won the first round of the WSK Super Master Series with driver Viktor Gustavsson, who took the KZ2 Final by storm. 2021 continued on a positive note for the Leclerc by Lennox Racing team. The CL chassis produced by Birel ART and powered by TM Racing once again proved extremely competitive in all classes, from MINI to KZ2.
