Saturday had left Aspar with unfinished business. Axel Nocom and Angelina Simons Torres had controlled their respective qualifying programmes without converting them into Final victories, while Mayson Hibbert had completed the opening day unbeaten. Sunday offered one final opportunity to master the unfamiliar circuit and another full day of closely fought racing in the Spanish heat.

The unfamiliar 1,647-metre circuit provided exactly the test expected of it. Drivers faced intense heat, tightly packed racing and drama as the penultimate round of the 2026 Champions of the Future Academy Program International Series began at the Aspar Circuit.

The leaders after the heats are Van Walstijn (KZ2), Drummond (OK), Miron (OKJ), Bos (MINI U10), Mair (MINI Gr3) and Perico (OK-NJ). Prefinals and Finals on Sunday, February 8th.

A total of 311 drivers are on track. The pole positions went to Luyet (KZ2), Pesl (OK), Green (OKJ), Francisco (MINI U10), Sheetov (MINI Gr.3) and Perico (OK-NJ).
