Monolite Racing captured its first points of the season in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine with a great performance in the second race at Spa-Francorchamps. The team headed by Rudi Mariotto had already inched closer to the overall top-10 on several occasions with Pietro Delli Guanti, who has been impressing in the championship's rookie ranking so far. In Belgium, the Italian was unlucky, facing traffic in Q1 and then being involved in an unavoidable crash in race 2.

After the successful one-off appearance of Michael Belov at Le Castellet, where the Russian driver took a double podium, Ido Cohen drove the Italian squad's third car. G4 Racing claimed its maiden Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine win at Spa-Francorchamps today. After taking a stellar pole position, Russian Michael Belov, who set an impressive 2’15”760 in Qualifying 2 in dry conditions, managed to keep his lead in the race, putting up a strong pace in the pouring rain affecting the famed Belgian circuit.

In the early morning qualifying sessions in Monaco, it is Zane Maloney (R-ace GP) to obtain the best overall time with 1:28.893), an amazing lap time also helped by a track that has been evidently constantly improving, helping Group B drivers whose session was after Group A. Great job also by his teammate and Rookie, Isack Hadjar, with 1:29.727, the fastest of the first Group. The French driver will start in pole position tomorrow in Race 1, while the Brazilian will be on pole in Race 2 on Sunday.
