The new karting season has just begun, and Energy Corse has already celebrated its first victory. At La Conca in southern Italy, during the first round of the WSK Super Master Series, Lev Krutogolov took the lead in the overall standings after his successes in OK in both the Prefinal and the Final. Lev Krutogolov racks up podium finishes with Energy Corse

After his sensational podium finish in the 2025 FIA Karting World Championship in OK, followed by some top-level performances in the WSK Final Cup, the Ukrainian driver has confirmed his status as one of the leading lights in the category. Winner of his first Qualifying Heat with the fastest lap in the race, Lev Krutogolov also won Prefinal A. He managed his Final perfectly to win at Muro Leccese despite strong competition.

Stec shines in Mini, as does Sanches in OK-Junior

In the Energy Corse team, Krutogolov was not the only driver to shine. In Mini 60, at the wheel of the Energy chassis that has revealed so many drivers, such as Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Niccolo Perico, Filip Stec set the 3rd fastest time in Qualifying. The Pole finished the Prefinal in the same position, but unfortunately dropped down the order on the first lap of the Final.

In OK-Junior, Felipe Sanches confirmed his strong progress, marked by a victory in one heat and a comeback in the Final to 7th place in this difficult and competitive category. Congratulations to the engine builders for the competitiveness of the IAME engines.

Podium in Dubai

From 23rd to 25th January, the United Arab Emirates hosted a major event on the Rotax calendar, the Dubai O-Plate. The Energy Corse chassis proved to be very competitive. In Max Senior with the Xcel team, Britain's Matthew Higgins won two heats and the Super Heat. An eventful race saw him lose the lead in the Final, before he fought back to finish in a brilliant 2nd place.

Another Xcel team driver, Baptiste Augustin, crossed the finish line as the winner in Mini Max at the wheel of his Energy chassis. Unfortunately, he was penalised for a track limit violation and dropped to 4th place. In Micro Max, the Final ended with a double podium and three drivers in the top six: P2 Adam Al Shaikh, P3 Saif Al Khalifa and P6 Ammar Tabaza. Congratulations to the Xcel team.

All these performances point to an intense season for Energy Corse, which is already prepared for the second round of the WSK Super Master Series in Naples-Sarno.
