Caitlyn McDaniel commits to Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing for GB4 return

American driver Caitlyn McDaniel will return to the GB4 Championship in 2026, switching to the new Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing combination for her sophomore campaign. McDaniel made her car-racing debut in GB4 this year, and proved a highly dependable contender as she maintained a 100% finishing rate, one of only four drivers to do so in 2025. The London-based American had only competed in one season of karting in the build-up to her GB4 graduation, courtesy of a year in the Jamie Chadwick Series.

Having claimed a number of top-six finishes despite a lack of experience compared to many other contenders, she then embarked upon a GB4 testing programme across the next few months, which culminated in her race debut at Donington Park last April. Strong progress was made throughout the year as she accrued mileage, and Caitlyn was able to break free from the rear of the pack by the end of the campaign.

Her form has kicked up another gear in post-season testing, having run exclusively with the Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing team. The Virginia native has now put pen to paper with the squad, which combines the strength of David Williams’ Nitrous Competitions firm with Gary Ward’s ADM race team, which made its GB4 debut in 2025 and scored a podium almost instantly.

Caitlyn McDaniel said: “I’m really happy to be joining Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing for my second year in GB4. I’ve really clicked with the team in the testing we’ve done so far, and I just know this is going to be a really exciting place to be this year. I learned a lot in my first season and now need to apply those lessons in a new environment, while adding more refinement to my performances. I can’t wait to resume our testing after the winter break, and really push on towards the new season.”

Team Principal Gary Ward said: “We’re very pleased to confirm Caitlyn as the first signing of our new era. I was very impressed with how Caitlyn handled her first season of racing, and given her lack of experience, she did a really good job. We’ve seen big progression from her in the days we’ve done together already, and I think we’ll see her make another step forward in 2026, working alongside our soon to be announced second driver, who will really help to push her on even further.”

Team Co-owner David Williams said: “2026 is going to be a very exciting season for all of us, and we’re delighted that Caitlyn has opted to sign with our team as she gets ready for her second year of competition. She’s only participated in two seasons of racing of any sort, and she’s the kind of driver we get excited about working with. We’re very keen to have a big influence in the development of young up and coming contenders, and Caitlyn gives us a perfect opportunity to play a major role in the development of a driver aiming for big things in her future career.”
