Birelart, a major player in the success of the World Rotax Grand Finals

The Birelart factory continues its successful partnership with BRP-Rotax at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals, held in the magical setting of the Bahrain circuit. The Italian manufacturer was once again chosen for its high-end products, rigour, flawless logistics and quality of service to supply the chassis for the Micro Max category in the colours of Charles Leclerc, Rotax DD2 labelled Birelart and Rotax DD2 Master embodied by the new Barichello Kart brand. 144 drivers delivered exciting races thanks to perfect sporting fairness at the wheel of chassis produced in Lissone.

With its worldwide presence, Rotax promotes karting by allowing many drivers to access this discipline, while offering accessible competitions up to the highest level. Birelart is proud to be part of this global success and to provide its winning technology.

Birelart's reputation is well established. After more than 65 years in business, the Italian brand embodies both tradition and innovation in karting and has collected the most prestigious international titles since the official championships began. For this year's Rotax World Grand Final, it spared no effort to produce the frames, spare parts and accessories on time, before ensuring their rigorous assembly and delivery to the Middle East. The challenge was met with the usual expertise of the historic factory in Lissone, near Monza.

In Rotax DD2, the Birelart chassis, one of the most renowned in the category, allowed the drivers to put on a spectacular show on the fast Sakhir track, with the suspense lasting until the very end of the Final. Dutchman Sem Knopjes won ahead of Czech Jakub Bezel and Polish driver Dawid Malaskiewicz. The Barichello Kart brand made its debut in Bahrain in DD2 Master. Lithuanian Martynas Tankevicius made a superb comeback to win a particularly competitive Final race ahead of Frenchman Charles Seguin and Argentine Gabriel Zughella. 4th after the heats, former Brazilian F1 driver Rubens Barichello was unsuccessful in the Final on a chassis bearing his name. Finally, in Micro Max, the smiles on the young drivers' faces were a joy to see and demonstrated, if proof were needed, how satisfied they were to be participating in this global event at the wheel of their CL Kart chassis. Emirati Benjamin Karajkovic won the Final in a hard-fought battle ahead of Chilean Bruno Miranda and Colombian Dominic Vera Rosa.

Comment from Ronni Sala, President of the Birelart Group

"The Rotax brand cup has a significant market share on every continent, and it is important for Birelart to be present alongside it. In Bahrain, 394 drivers representing 61 nations made the trip, including no fewer than 144 at the wheel of a chassis produced by Birelart. This is an excellent image to project to all participants around the world. We have once again demonstrated the strength of our factory in all areas, from design and production to logistics and service. I would like to congratulate BRP-Rotax for its overall organisation, our technical staff for their constant efforts, and all the drivers for the show they put on. We have once again received excellent feedback from all sides, which encourages us to continue our close collaboration with BRP-Rotax."
