TEMECULA, CA – The 21st season of the Superkarts! USA ProKart Challenge is set to end following the sixth and final round of competition on October 11-12 at the K1 Circuit. For a third time this year, the SKUSA regional program will visit the Winchester, California, facility for the final round of the championship chase. The 1.1-mile ‘Pro Track’ will welcome the competitors on the weekend, fighting for the final points up for grabs.
The championship is locked in already in the Formula Works KA100 Senior class, with Keagan Kaminski securing the win in the first five rounds. He will take his perfect win score to K1 Circuit, while Jackson Menchu and Shea Aldrich are at the front of the fight for vice champion on the season. Two wins over the five rounds has Matthew Cagle leading the championship chase in the SuperSpeed Bearings KA100 Junior class. Canadian Nathan Dupuis is coming off a victory at Round Five, sitting second in the standings with Round Two winner Sebastian Hauser in third. Tim Meyer has a comfortable lead in the Mike Manning Karting KA100 Master standings. The Round Three winner has a 333-point advantage going into the finale, leading Robert Switzler and Scott Nealon.
Luis Martinez carries his three wins on the season, leading the championship in the HRT Driver Development Mini Swift category. His advantage is 138 points over Nathan Ramirez, who has three runner-up results over five rounds. Koa Saito is coming off his victory at Round Five, sitting third in the standings heading into the finale weekend. Matthew Paciulli has stood on the podium in all five rounds in the Sanner Racing Micro Swift class. With two wins, Paciulli holds only a 44-point advantage over fellow two-time winner Aidan Go. Lyon McPhail has only one podium finish, but leads the chase for third in the standings.
2025 SKUSA Pro Tour champion Billy Musgrave is en route to another PKC title in Precision Works Racing Engines Pro Shifter. The two-time race winner holds a 349-point lead over Anthony Freese, with Keawn Tandon holding the third spot in the title chase. The fight for the title in the Mega Power Engines Master Shifter standings is tight, as the top two are separated by only 37 points. Round Three winner Volodymyr Borodavchenko holds the advantage over veteran Michael Guasch, who has four straight podium results coming into the finale. Levi Bennett sits third in the standings.
The chance to sweep the main events in 2025 is on the line for Erik Doan in the Nash Motorsportz Junior Shifter division. Doan leads by 224 points over Canadian Nathan Dupuis, with Matthew Reinoehl in third. Dante Rodrigues is the points leader in the Precision Karting Mini Shifter standings coming off his victory at Sonoma. Just 75 points separate the top two in the P1 Engines Spec 125 class. Round Four winner Dane Idelson leads three-time winner Truly Adams on their return to K1. Liam Jones leads the way for the fight for third. The gap in the FZ Master division standings is 50 points. Tony Rossetti and Jeff Krogstad sit first and second, each with a win.
Race Pre-Entry for Round Six of the ProKart Challenge at K1 Circuit remains open until the deadline of Tuesday, October 7, at 11:59 pm PST. Registration is available via the online registration page.
