Bart Horsten will return to the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship in 2021, switching to Hitech GP for what will also be the team's second year in the series. The 17-year-old returns for another year in the UK's single-seater championship after a strong maiden campaign in 2020. Horsten claimed three podium finishes on his way to tenth overall in last year's final standings.
 

The second of the three drivers for the 2021 season of the FIA Formula 3 Championship has been confirmed: HWA RACELAB is putting its faith in the promising and talented Rafael Villagomez (Mexico) in the coming season of the junior racing series. The 19-year-old will make his debut in the series for the team from Affalterbach.

Round 3 of the FIA F4UAE Championship powered by Abarth saw the three main title rivals fight for honours as they shared wins at Dubai Autodrome this weekend (January 28-30, 2021). 

Rik Koen, the Dutch youngster who made a name for himself in the Dutch Ford Fiesta Cup, will switch to single-seaters for the coming season after signing with MP Motorsport to compete in the Spanish Formula 4 Championship.

Dutch racer Dilano Van't Hoff has extended his points lead over main rival, Italian Enzo Trulli at the latest round of the FIA F4UAE Championship powered by Abarth, as the category returned to Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi for Round 2 this weekend (January 21-23, 2021). 

16 year-old Maya Weug is about to make history with Ferrari. The Dutch girl, born in Spain, with a Belgian mother and a Dutch father, is the first woman driver to join the Ferrari Driver Academy. Maya outshone the other girls at the evaluation camp which took place last week at the Scuderia headquarters in Maranello, as the final stage of the FIA “Girls on Track-Rising Stars” programme.

JD Motorsport is proud to announce that Australian driver Tommy Smith will be part of the team's line-up in the 2021 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. Born in 2002, Smith started racing in Australia and New Zealand, taking part in the local developmental championships.  In recent years, he also entered the season-opening F3 Asian Championship.

Three new single-seater race winners were crowned at the opening round of the FIA F4UAE Championship powered by Abarth, as the category returned to racing for its fifth season at the Dubai Autodrome.

2020 has been a complex sporting year to manage because of the pandemic. However, Suleiman Zanfari put in some interesting performances in his first F4 season in Spain. He intends to continue his experience and obtain good results in this Championship next year with the renowned MP Motorsport team.

Matteo demonstrated his talent at an early age, winning multiple Italian karting championships. He soon caught the eye in Formula racing too, where his achievements included victory in his first race with the new car. At the age of 15, Nannini made his debut in the Arabian Formula 4 UAE Championship in 2019 and promptly racked up a further six victories en route to winning the title.

Dutch Dilano Van T 'Hoff will make a step up from karting to F4. Dilano joins the championship-winning team Xcel Motorsport for 2021 in what will be his maiden season in F4. The 16 year old from the Netherlands brings with him a wealth of experience in karting. Dilano is a CIK European and WSK round winner.

PREMA Powerteam is extremely happy to announce that David Vidales will join the team's Formula Regional European by Alpine operation for 2021. An 18-year-old Spaniard from León, Vidales went straight to Formula Renault Eurocup in 2020 for his first season in single-seaters after a promising and successful career in karting. 
 

PREMA Powerteam experienced a memorable weekend at Imola. With one win and two second-place finishes, Gabriele Minì secured the 2020 Italian Formula 4 Championship with one full round still to go. The 15-year-old racer, who was the first Italian to take the overall title in the history of the championship, delivered three outstanding runs including a win in race 1, as he kept control of the situation and did not make the slightest mistake. He is the fifth Prema driver to take the Italian title, the first being Lance Stroll in 2014. 

Lorenzo Colombo scored BhaiTech Racing’s first Formula Renault Eurocup win at Hockenheim. The Italian squad made its debut last season intending to provide a step for the drivers who grew up in Formula 4 in the last few seasons.

Saturday saw a dramatic turn of events in the race for the ADAC Formula 4 title on the final weekend at Oschersleben. Following an intense battle with Jonny Edgar (16, England), America's Jak Crawford (15, Van Amersfoort Racing) not only recorded his fourth win of the season but also took over the championship lead from his team-mate
