It is collective tests day at Hockenheimring, for the first round of the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. After the morning session, lap times further drop in the second track session at Hockenheim, with the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine collective test 2.

The ADAC Formula 4 Junior Team will kick off the second round of the FFSA Formula 4 Championship at Lédenon in France this weekend (10th to 12th May). Mathilda Paatz and Montego Maassen want to build on the good performances from the start of the season on the Easter weekend in the south of France. This means that the two drivers of the ADAC Formula 4 Junior Team will be supported by lubricant manufacturer Ravenol this season. The company from Werther in North Rhine-Westphalia is a long-standing supporter of young sports, and the Ravenol logos can be seen on the sidepods of the Formula 4 racers of Paatz and Maassen.

Alpine Academy’s Abbi Pulling dominated the F1 Academy weekend in Miami, celebrating two wins from two races to complete a near-perfect weekend in Round 2 of the series at the Miami International Autodrome. Abbi scored 57 points from a maximum of 58 over the weekend after securing a pole position double and the Fastest Lap in Race 2.

The 2024 Ginetta Junior champion will receive a £50,000 scholarship towards a seat in the 2025 GB4 Championship, it was confirmed today (Friday 26 April). Ginetta Cars and GB4 promoter MotorSport Vision (MSV) will jointly contribute to the prize fund – one of the largest ever seen at this level of UK motorsport.

The final timed session that took place this afternoon in Hockenheim has seen the checkered flag waving over the Pre-Season Collective Test 2024 of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine fired up its engines this morning at Hockenheim, the circuit hosting the last Pre Season Collective Test of the year. On the German track, 33 cars took to the wet and variable weather conditions, with rain falling until just before the session began, leaving the track wet in places and causing some drivers to go off track, leading to a series of red flags.

Famous for its thermal waters, the Belgian town of Spa was drenched from 18th to 20th of April as the eagerly-awaited opening of the 2024 Eurocup-3 Championship took place on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Extremely cold weather conditions, with showers of rain, hail and even snow, caused considerable disruption to the meeting.
