Williams Academy driver Franco Colapinto claimed his maiden win in F2, the second tier of the single-seater pyramid. Colapinto returned to Imola for the first time after 2022 where he scored his maiden win in FIA Formula 3. The Formula 2 rookie had a solid start to the weekend, finishing in the top 10 in the practice session and set the ninth fastest time in Qualifying that put him in second on the grid for the Sprint race.

Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) has selected their class of interns for the third year of Women In Motorsports Powered by PNC Bank. Reflecting expectations, the first qualifying session of the year for the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine at the inaugural round at Hockenheimring was highly intense. The ADAC Formula 4 Junior Team will kick off the second round of the FFSA Formula 4 Championship at Lédenon in France this weekend (10th to 12th May). Mathilda Paatz and Montego Maassen want to build on the good performances from the start of the season on the Easter weekend in the south of France. This means that the two drivers of the ADAC Formula 4 Junior Team will be supported by lubricant manufacturer Ravenol this season. The company from Werther in North Rhine-Westphalia is a long-standing supporter of young sports, and the Ravenol logos can be seen on the sidepods of the Formula 4 racers of Paatz and Maassen.

Alpine Academy’s Abbi Pulling dominated the F1 Academy weekend in Miami, celebrating two wins from two races to complete a near-perfect weekend in Round 2 of the series at the Miami International Autodrome. Abbi scored 57 points from a maximum of 58 over the weekend after securing a pole position double and the Fastest Lap in Race 2.
