Great performances for the Tony Kart Racing Team and well-deserved podium with Alex Dunne on the circuit in Genk in the second round of FIA Karting European Championship OK and OKJ, in spite of the difficult weather conditions.

During a particularly tricky competition, Birel ART Racing was able to place two of its drivers at the front of the OK European Championship. Pole position and 3rd place in Qualifying Practice for Luigi Coluccio and Alessandro Irlando, followed by two top-three finishes in the heats, confirmed the level of performance of the Birel ART chassis and their TM Racing engines at the highest level.

Due to the unpredictable weather in Belgium, the second round of the FIA ​​Karting European Championship was the most difficult of the season so far. Small showers often caused unpredictable variations in the grip of the Genk circuit. Delayed for this reason in Qualifying, Gabriele Minì admirably recovered from 43rd to 6th place finish with the fastest lap, therefore preserving all his chances in the OK rankings.

The second Competition of the FIA ​​Karting European Championship - OK & Junior was very complex to manage for the participants in the Kart Grand Prix of Belgium in Genk. The rain spared none of the three days of racing, however, the Finals were, fortunately, able to take place on a dry track. Marcus Amand (FRA) won in Junior and Lorenzo Travisnutto (ITA) won the OK Final with a strong lead just before a storm.

On Friday 17th May, the second competition of the FIA ​​Karting European Championship - OK & Junior started on the Genk circuit (BEL) in weather conditions that were particularly difficult to manage. The technical choices were influential on the results of this first phase, the consequences of which could have repercussions until the Final. The Swedish driver is now a strong leader of the European Championship!

After a seven month absence, at the beginning of May Suleiman Zanfari returned to karting during the Swedish Kart League at Kristianstad in OK-Junior within the Ward Racing team. The young Moroccan made a remarkable comeback with pole position and crossed the finish line ahead by a large margin then was 3rd after a penalty. His top performances both in the dry and in the wet have not gone unnoticed by the professionals.

One month after the opening of the FIA ​​Karting European Championship - OK & Junior, the Genk circuit will host the second of the four European Competitions with the Belgian Kart Grand Prix from 16th to 19th May. At this Competition, some changes in the hierarchy can be expected from Drivers wanting to even the score and not be left behind in the standings before the halfway point in the season.

After a weekend playing the leading role in the difficult conditions on the track in Wackersdorf, Vortex is on the podium of the KZ FIA Karting European Championship with Matteo Viganò.

The first round of the FIA Karting European Championships - KZ and KZ2 started well for the Birel ART brand, which confirms the quality of its products more than ever in the categories using with 125cc gearbox engines. Impressive throughout the weekend in KZ, Alex Irlando was rewarded for his attacking race with the third step of the podium. In KZ2, Riccardo Longhi remained in the limelight throughout the Final, making an incredible comeback from 13th to 3rd place. The two European titles appear to be within the reach of the official Birel ART team in 2019.

The Tony Kart Racing Team is always present in the fight for top positions of the first round of the KZ and KZ2 FIA Karting European Championship in Germany, ending with the second place of our Matteo Viganò.

The German track in Wackersdorf is always a good one for Alex Irlando who finishes third the first round of the FIA Karting KZ European Championship.

Simone Cunati conquers the 2nd place in Wackersdorf with the CRG Modena Kart team and becomes a candidate for the KZ2 European Championship title. In KZ Hiltbrand is 11^th for a penalty and De Conto 13^th. The first round of the FIA Karting European Championship for the shifter classes KZ and KZ2 in Wackersdorf, Germany, saw the CRG colours on the podium with Simone Cunati, with the Modena Kart team, fantastic protagonist of the KZ2 category where he achieved an excellent second place.

The FIA ​​Karting European Championship - KZ started well for Sodikart with victory for Anthony Abbasse and the rise of Bas Lammers to 4th position. The Sodi Racing Team's performances since the beginning of the season have confirmed the exceptional potential of the French chassis in all conditions. In the winter freshness of Lonato as well as in the spring heat of Sarno, in the dry or in the rain, the Sodi Boys have always been able to participate in the fight for the win at the highest level of international competition.

In mild, rain-free weather, Sunday offered a high-quality sporting event in Wackersdorf where the three winners of this superb FIA Karting Competition were unquestionably the best. Congratulations to Robert De Haan in Academy, Emil Skaras in KZ2 and Anthony Abbasse in KZ, not to mention their brave opponents. The 2019 German Karting Grand Prix will also remain a milestone event of the season with its remarkably good organisation.
