Marcus Amand, the 2015 Minikart French champion, won a prestigious international title at the end of 2017, the Rotax Grand Final, against a field of drivers from 30 countries. This year he moved up to the OK Junior category (12-14 years old), which opens the door to the official European and World Championships run by the CIK-FIA International Federation.

Under the colours of Rosberg Racing, the young British driver Taylor Barnard has achieved outstanding performances in OK-Junior at the WSK Open Cup at the Lonato circuit. It was a very positive weekend for Baby Race in Lonato's WSK Open Cup event. It started in the best possible way with poles for Ean Eychmans in the 60 Mini class and Lorenzo Ferrari in OK.

The WSK Open Cup at Lonato saw victories go to Longhi (I – BIRELART-TM KZ2), Coluccio (I – BIRELART-TM OK), Smal (RUS – TONYKART-VORTEX OKJ) and Stenshorne (N – PAROLIN-TM 60MINI). The next event is the Final Cup at Lonato on October 21st.

The 2018 WSK Super Master Series has just ended at the fast circuit of Sarno with a very positive result for the Sodi Racing Team. Alex Irlando made the colours of the French team shine at the highest international level by climbing to 2nd place in the KZ2 category. With four Sodi ranked in the top 10 of the Championship, the French brand confirms its ambitions before the start of the CIK-FIA European Championship.
