Birel ART Racing confirmed its excellent level of performance in the second round of the WSK Super Master Series at Lonato this weekend as the battle raged in all categories. Within an exceptionally large field, the Red Army showed great bravery despite the not always favourable circumstances. Hiltbrand was very consistent in the top five in KZ2, Pasiewicz and Keeble were close to the top 10 in OK while Kutskov was the fastest in the OK-Junior Final.

The run-up to the international season continues for the CRG Racing Team, which was protagonist of the 2^nd Round of the WSK Master in Lonato last weekend. For the CRG drivers and the technical staff it was a weekend that provided important technical information, although unfortunately for various reasons it did not bring significant results. When racing the main goal is always the result, but for a Factory Team the technical development work is of equal importance and at this stage of the year it is a priority, as the first real comparison tests among the main competitors on the 2022 chassis are now taking place on the track.

Bogdan Cosma-Cristofor has started his third international karting season in the 60 Mini class with great talent and determination, even though he has not yet turned 11 years old. At the second round of the WSK Super Master Series, the young Romanian has just posted one of his best results of his career on the prestigious circuit of Lonato, by taking a remarkable 7th place out of a total of 108 drivers! Bogdan's 2022 season has well and truly started...

The victory of the finals of the second round in Lonato went to Stan Pex in KZ2, Tuukka Taponen in OK, Lucas Fluxa Cross in OKJ and Jindrich Pesl in MINI.

From 9^th to 13^th February the Lonato track will host the 2^nd round of the WSK Master, which will be attended by around 350 drivers in the 4 international Mini, OK Junior, OK Senior and KZ categories. This large turnout is a positive sign and rewards the choice of the main teams and constructors involved in international karting, to jointly select the races to take part in, on the sidelines of the FIA ​​Karting events. In this way the commitments of the teams will be more manageable and the show on the track always at a high level.

The second round of the WSK Super Master Series is gearing up with a total of 360 entered drivers from 54 different countries. Qualifying practice and heats will get underway from Friday, February 11th. Finals will follow on Sunday, February 13th with Live Streaming coverage.

The first record of 2022 by WSK is to be set by the second round of the WSK Super Master Series that will take place in Lonato on February 13th with 350 entered drivers. The classifications after the opener held on January 30th.

Birel ART made a great start to the 2022 season at the Lonato track in the opening round of the WSK Super Master Series. With a renewed line-up of 14 drivers, the Birel ART Racing Team showed an exciting level of performance in all three international categories. Pedro Hiltbrand reached 2nd place in the KZ2 Final, Kirill Kutskov finished 3rd on the OK-Junior podium while Cristian Bertuca came close to the top five in OK. 

At the debut of the season, on the occasion of the first round of the WSK Super Master Series in Lonato, the Tony Kart Racing Team hits the victory in OK with Luigi Coluccio, who started from the pole position in the final.

Two races, two victories! The season has certainly started under the best auspices for the Sodi Racing Team and its new 2022 Sodi chassis. The Dutchman Senna Van Walstijn has once again shown that he has all the qualities needed to represent the French brand at the highest level of KZ. Facing the big international teams that took part in this WSK Super Master Series in Lonato, Sodikart once again won masterfully, while confirming its great competitiveness in Junior.

The CRG Racing Team's first official race of the 2022 season, which took place from 27^th to 30^th January on the Lonato track, has ended with a positive balance. The target was to have the first results in racing conditions for the newly approved 2022 chassis and the feedback received in all categories has satisfied the technical staff of the CRG racing department.

Among the over 260 drivers on track at the South Garda Karting circuit for the opener of the WSK Super Master Series, the victory went to the Italian Coluccio in OK, the Belgian Van Langendonck in MINI, the Dutch Van Walstijn in KZ2 and the other Dutch Lammers in OKJ.

After the season’s opening WSK Champions Cup held on Sunday, January 23rd, this coming weekend (January 30th) the WSK Super Master Series will run its opening round also at the South Garda Karting Circuit in Lonato. All the main constructors and the most credited international teams will be present with 300 drivers ready to contest categories KZ2, OK, OKJ and MINI.
