Creating a thrilling spectacle in the heart of the desert in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the 2025 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF) once again delivered world-class motorsport at its finest. The race event, which brought together the crème de la crème of Rotax racers from around the world, was a true showcase of outstanding skill, fierce competition, and a joyful celebration of fellowship in the mesmerizing Kingdom of Bahrain.

What an incredible week it has been here in the Kingdom of Bahrain for the RMC Grand Finals 2025. The atmosphere was absolutely electrifying, filled with anticipation, emotion, and world-class racing. Under the intense Bahraini sun, the heat on track was even higher as the Finals began: from the thrilling battles of the E20 E-Kart classes, to the young talents of Micro MAX and Mini MAX, through the fiercely competitive Junior and Senior MAX categories, all the way to the high-speed action of DD2 and DD2 Masters.

This year, the collaboration between Sodikart and BRP-Rotax was again successful for the 22nd edition of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final, which took place in Portugal, at the Kartodrómo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão from 19th to 26th November. Since 2010, Sodikart has been a loyal partner of the Rotax world event as a chassis supplier. The French factory, world leader in the kart industry, has fulfilled its mission perfectly to deliver more than 180 fully assembled chassis in four of the eight categories racing in Portugal and to satisfy 178 drivers from 56 nations from five continents.

We can‘t believe that the week is actually over now, as today we crowned the champions of the 2022 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals and there was simply incredible racing action out on track.

The ‘best of the best’ in each of the Rotax classes will ensure the race action will be sensational as ever once the competition gets underway mid-week, following the initial practice sessions. Eight categories are on the program in 2022 – with the introduction of the Rotax Project E20 Junior E-Kart class, boosting the numbers to bring a younger generation of racer closer to the sustainable future.

We look back at yesterday, when the 2022 RMC Grand Finals were truly opened via the Welcome Briefing in the morning. 394 drivers received their brand new karts through the customary raffle on the main start-finish straight underneath the beautifully sunlit Portuguese skyline. Along with that, drivers would also head to the nearby Autodromo Internacional do Algarve for the mandatory briefings that afternoon, with the paddock tent being a busy hive of activity all day long as the brand-new karts would be prepared fully, with every nut and bolt tightened and fastened.

The 22nd edition of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals will take place this year in Portugal, at the Kartodrómo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão from 19th to 26th November, with 394 drivers from more than 60 countries. Gunskirchen/Wackersdorf, The season results in the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy have been decided. In Wackersdorf, Bavaria, challenging conditions over the last weekend made for a particularly exciting final phase. Eventful races on mostly wet asphalt resulted in four new winners of the day. With Ethan Jeff-Hall (Junior MAX), Sean Butcher (Senior MAX), Mark Kimber (DD2) and Denis Thum (DD2 Masters), the new champions of the international Rotax racing series were also crowned at Prokart Raceland.

BRP-Rotax is glad to announce the date for the second Danish Rotax E-Kart Championship which will take place at the Rødby Karting Ring from September 02 to 04, 2022. The Championship will run in both categories, Project E20 Junior and Senior, which will be awarded with a ticket to the RMC Grand Finals in Portugal in November.

The DEKM 2022 season starts with several new features: BRP-Rotax, the official partner of the DEKM, providing the E-Karts and a team of specialists for the coordination and support on sites, has developed a new category which means that the DEKM 2022 is now coming with Junior and Senior class. Furthermore, the E-Karts are equipped with the MOJO D5 and W5 tires.

The 21^st edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals took place at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit in Sakhir in the Kingdom of Bahrain from December 11^th to 18^th, 2021. After a long wait since the last RMCGF in Sarno, Italy, BRP-Rotax had several premieres, which excited not only the drivers but also all the participants and followers of the Live Stream.

Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy 2020 kicks off in Portimão. The international circuit Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve with a length of 1.6 km, is one of the best karting locations in the world and is located in the southern part of Portugal.
