The sun was shining bright over Wackersdorf, setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable day of racing at the Finals of Round 1 of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy. Trophies were lifted by Alfie Mair (Mini MAX), Cole Denholm (Junior MAX), Lewis Gilbert (Senior MAX), Jakub Bezel (DD2), and Nicolas Picot (DD2 Masters).

33 heats decided the starting grids for the Final Phase at Wackersdorf, host of the opening round of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy. The leaders after the heats are: Alfie Mair (Mini MAX), Jacob Ashcroft (Junior MAX), Sean Butcher (Senior MAX), Manuel Tenschert (DD2), and Nicolas Picot (DD2 Masters).

In superb weather that got hotter and hotter, the 318 drivers racing in the 2024 Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy contested 33 Qualifying Heats before tackling the Super Heats on Saturday morning and selecting the finalists in the six categories who will compete in the afternoon of Saturday 20th July in Le Mans.

The 2024 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy starts this weekend at Karting Genk: The Home of Champions with the first round of four. More than 240 drivers are enrolled from over 40 countries.

Last weekend, KartCenter Campillos hosted the first edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Cup organized by WSK Promotion. The mixed weather conditions added an extra layer of excitement to the already thrilling racing spectacle, with rain and sunshine alternating throughout the weekend, providing a true test of the drivers’ skills.

The Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Golden Trophy took place once again last weekend at Karting Genk in Belgium. 181 competitors from 26 nations dueled at the demanding ‘Home of Champions’ and delivered exciting racing in the alternating weather conditions. In the evening, five class winners were celebrated on the podium. In addition, three drivers were awarded their tickets for the upcoming RMC Grand Finals in Portimao, Portugal, at the last moment.
