A summer climate and a sunny day accompanied the long Saturday of heats at the Prokart Raceland in Wackersdorf, where the second round of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy is taking place.

Between confirmations and surprises, the after-heats ranking highlights: Albert Friend (Strawberry Racing), Toms Strele (Dan Holland Racing), Sean Butcher (KR Sport), Enzo Bol (SP Motorsport), Nicolas Picot (Privateer), Raul Vargas (SLK Racing), and Ernesto Vargas (Privateer).

German Cup by Mini MAX - Friend Leads the Pack
British driver Albert Friend wins the Strawberry derby with Tom Read, who was on pole yesterday. Friend achieves a hat-trick, while Read finishes 9th due to an unlucky first heat. In second place is Polish driver Michal Zajac (Dan Holland Racing), who gains two positions compared to yesterday. Following are Nikita Ljubimov (Bouvin Power), Belgian Cup winner Zdenek Babicek (TEPZ Racing), and Genk pole-sitter AJ Burggraaff (SP Motorsport).

 
Junior MAX - Strele and Dan Holland Racing on Top
Fastest in yesterday's Qualifying Group 1 and top of the after-heats ranking, Latvian driver Toms Strele (Dan Holland Racing) will start first in tomorrow's Prefinal A thanks to two victories and a fourth place. Right behind him is RS Competition’s Casper Nissen, who was very consistent today. Third is Lewis Goff (Sam Pollitt Racing), followed by Rory Armstrong (Strawberry Racing), Noah Janssen (Doerr Motorsport), and Cameron Nelson (Dan Holland Racing), with these three making impressive recoveries of 10, 15, and 17 positions respectively. A bittersweet series of heats drops Kaiden Higgins (MLC Motorsport) to 16th place. Also out of the top 10 is Jacob Ashcroft (Dan Holland Racing).

Senior MAX - Butcher Takes the Lead
Sean Butcher (KR Sport) tops the standings at the end of the heats. Butcher secures two victories and two second places, matching the penalty score of Matthew Higgins (Dan Holland Racing); the tie-breaker being the better qualifying position. Third and fourth are yesterday's group pole-sitters, Jayden Thien (Dan Holland Racing) and Thomas Bearman (KR Sport). Italian driver Elia Pappacena (MKC Motorsport) is fifth. Noteworthy is the incredible comeback by Kai Hunter (Hunter Motorsport), moving from 44th to 11th thanks to a score of two top-five finishes, a seventh, and a tenth place.

DD2/DD2 Masters - Bol and Picot, Again!
Enzo Bol (SP Motorsport) and Nicolas Picot (Privateer) are once again the best in DD2 and DD2 Masters. Both have a perfect score so far with three victories each.

E20 Senior/E20 Masters - Vargas Beats Elswood
Raul Vargas (SLK Racing Academy) outperforms yesterday’s pole-sitter, Will Elswood (Kraft Motorsport). The Spaniard has been more consistent than the Brit, who showed better performance on the flying lap.
