What a great and exciting day here at the 20^th edition of the RMC Grand Finals 2019. After the traditional drivers parade of all the participating nations in the morning, we saw 360 of the best kart-drivers of the world competing for the title. Thrilling and amazing action on the track impressed as one of the closest competitions in the history of the Grand Finals. The deserving winners were crowned this afternoon during the prize-giving ceremony before the celebration of the 20^th anniversary of the Grand Finals at the Drivers Party.

Welcome back on this very hot and anticipated day of the 20th Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF) here at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno. After the all-important track walks at sunset yesterday evening, today was an exciting Welcome to the third day of the RMC Grand Finals 2019 and the second day of track action, with three more non-qualifying practice sessions for each driver. In addition, it was the beginning of free practice for the Rotax THUNDeR E-Karts which silently hit the track. After the initial day of practice yesterday when everyone was getting more familiar with the circuit, the drivers appeared to be pushing a hard started to push harder from the morning. The temperature on the circuit during the first round of the non-qualifying sessions was around 16 degrees, with minimal wind, making the morning very similar to the first practice sessions yesterday. and electrifying atmosphere in the drivers tent before they were able to make their first rounds in their karts.

The 20th edition of the Rotax Max Grand Finals Challenge takes place in Italy, at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli, Sarno from 19th to 26th October 2019, with 360 drivers from more than 50 countries. Since 2010, Sodi has been a faithful partner of the Rotax World Final as a chassis supplier. This year we are celebrating our 20^th anniversary in this beautiful region of Italy, which is well known for its rich cultural heritage sites, the wonderful Amalfi Coast and very good Italian food. The prestigious race event will see 360 drivers from almost 60 countries competing this week to be on the top of the podium.

BRP-Rotax is proud to announce that for the upcoming season in 2020, it will introduce several upgrades to both the Micro MAX and Mini MAX engine configuration, which will achieve four main objectives: · Ease of use & installation · Less sensitive operation · More cost-effective · Limit manipulation of components. These improvements further align the parity of the Rotax engine packages and ensure a more level playing field for our youngest RMC competitors.

With third place in the fourth round of the DEKM, the German Electric Kart Championship, Jort Coone again proved to be one of the certain front-runners in the international field contesting the 2019 title. This was a huge boost for the young Dutch driver because the 15-year old from Lemmer had never actually raced on the challenging Ampfing circuit before while having no time more recently for any further testing due to his studies.

The 2019 Senior Max Champion, Mathilda Olsson (Strawberry Racing), is racing on a Sodi Kart chassis at the final round of the RACB Championship Rotax Max Challenge Belgium, which is being held at Karting Genk: Home of Champions. Olssen is busy preparing for this year’s ROTAX - New Age Karting Grand Finals in Sarno, where the Max Senior-class will race on Sodi Kart.

After another exciting racing season for the Rotax Max Euro Trophy in 2019, which visited four great venues this year and lasted around five months, the newly-revamped calendar again goes to four premium tracks across the European landscape, starting next Easter. The calendar was announced live via the championship’s official Facebook page on the evening of the season’s penultimate day of racing in Germany. 
 

After stops in Adria (Italy) and Kristianstad (Sweden), the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy travelled to Wackersdorf, Germany, from September 6th to 8th. In the modern facility of the Prokart Raceland, the Rotax elite once again gathered for the big finale of the year and was challenged by changeable weather conditions throughout the weekend. Yet the 1,190-metre long circuit in Bavaria kept dry most of the time and once again proved to be the perfect soil for exciting and action-packed racing, which in the end did not only ascertain some new winners but four worthy champions and seven delegates for the RMC Grand Finals in Sarno (IT) in October ...
