However, the Covid-19 pandemic is still present and the recent reinforcement of health controls between countries around the world has restricted the number of participants at the last moment.

From July 16th to 18th, 2021, the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy made its debut in the Arena E at Mülsen (GER). For the first time, the European RMC elite visited the 1,315 metre-long circuit in Eastern Germany, where the third and penultimate round of the season heralded the crucial phase of the series. The weather was mixed; after sunshine on Friday, the heats took place in rainy weather before the final day was dry again.

Last weekend, the German Electric Kart Championship (DEKM) broke new ground. For the first time, the drivers from eight nations started at the Arena E in Mülsen. During the races, there were lots of fights for positions – Theo Kekati from the United Arab Emirates and Dutchman  Luca Nieuwenhuizen were the happy winners.

At the Prokart Raceland in Wackersdorf, the German Electric Kart Championship (DEKM) starts its fourth season next weekend (04.06.-06.06.). 14 drivers from twelve nations will ensure a top-class field. In total, the worldwide unique Electro Kart racing series competes in four events distributed in Germany and Belgium.

BRP-Rotax is pleased to announce the Chassis Partners for the 2021s Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals. The worldwide Rotax family will meet for the annual highlight of the karting season at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit from 11th to 18th of December, 2021. 

Gunskirchen, Austria, BRP-Rotax announced that the actual still impacting COVID-19 situation, which provoked a later start of the racing season, demands an organizational op-timization of the RMCGF event. This leads to a shift of the announced RMCGF date by one week to December 11th – 18th, 2021.

For its 2021 season opener, the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy welcomed a full house from April 9th to 11th at Karting Genk, Belgium. A remarkable field of participants, representing drivers from more than 20 different nations, turned the first of four championship rounds into a truly international battle, which offered three days of exciting action on the 1,360-metre long circuit in Flanders – even if there were some restrictions due to the pandemic situation.
