It is with great excitement that we announce a new dawn for karting - Karting SA  (sanctioned by World of Motorsport South Africa - WOMZA). For far too long, the Rotax Max Challenge Series has been subjected to unpopular regulations and changes by MSA and its appointees which often are not even involved in karting at all. We are therefore creating a dedicated karting regulating body that listens to karters, clubs, promoters, circuits, etc. when making decisions.

Not yet booked your place on the grid for the 2021 ROTAX Karting Winter Cup at Circuito Karting Campillos. It takes place between February 19th and 21st in Spain, just three weeks after the Grand Finals at Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve!

BRP-Rotax is excited to announce that the company Murray Motorsport has been appointed as the authorized distributor for the Republic of Ireland for Rotax karting products as of January 01, 2021. Up to now the territory of Ireland has been served by the UK distributor JAG, who has established a sales- and service network serving Irish customers over the past years and managed that Rotax MAX categories have been part of the national championship organized by the ASN Motorsport Ireland.

The last day of the 2020 Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy was rich in spectacle and twists on the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve. Fought at 100% intensity on a dry track and in mixed conditions, the Finals showed the extraordinary competitiveness of the Rotax categories with top level participants coming from all over the world, despite a not particularly favourable health situation, before rewarding the big winners.

The weather improved greatly during the Prefinals of the Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy in Portimão and the variations in grip seen since the Qualifying Heats resulted in races as exciting as they were selective in all categories.

Originally scheduled at the height of summer in Le Mans, the 2nd edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy had to adapt to the Covid-19 pandemic like everyone else. Thanks to the important preparation work carried out by the 3MK Events team, the event could be rescheduled in Portugal from 8th to 13th December 2020. With nearly 230 participants and a rigorous health protocol, the competition is already shaping up to be a success as the Qualifying Practices have just been completed.

Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy officially announces that the registrations for the ROTAX Karting Winter Cup at Circuito Karting Campillos, which will be held in the weekend of the 19-21 February 2021, are now OPEN!

The Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy has heralded the final spurt of the 2020 racing season. The ultimate event of the championship took place on the Adria Karting Raceway, near Venice. After stops in Belgium and Germany, the race in Italy opened the decisive stage of the three-round series as the fourth and last round in Genk was cancelled.

We would like to inform you all that we will not be proceeding with the final race weekend of the 2020 ROTAX MAX Euro Trophy season, which was scheduled to take place at Karting Genk: Home of Champions in Belgium between November 6th and 8th 2020. This now confirms the conclusion of the racing season.

With a length of 1,302 metres, the CIK-FIA homologated track becomes the third-longest on the Euro Trophy calendar in 2020. About 150 drivers in the Micro, Mini, Junior, Senior, DD2 and DD2 Masters classes have pre-registered for the event at the modern Adria Karting Raceway.

The 21^st edition of this prestigious yearly karting event has changed date and location due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic and will take place as already announced in Portimão in Portugal, from January 23^rd to 30^th, 2021.
