Alessandro Giusti, the French driver from G4 Racing, gave himself a birthday present in the second race at the Red Bull Ring. Starting from pole position, he secured his second win of the season, celebrating from the top step of the podium on his 17th birthday.

Race 1 of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine at the Red Bull Ring is a solo performance by Rafael Camara. The PREMA Racing Brazilian driver made an excellent start and fully utilized the pace he demonstrated in qualifying to claim his second victory of the season. From start to finish, his win is undisputed, as he flawlessly controls the race, not allowing any of his pursuers to get close enough to attempt an overtaking maneuver.

Brazilian pole-sitter Rafael Camara took home the first victory of the season for Prema Racing. Camara dominated Race 1, maintaining control from the pole position with a perfect get away when the lights went out. He managed the race and built a gap, encountering no issues even during the restart from the Safety Car period caused by a race incident between Josh Dufek (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport) at Les Combes. After the brief neutralization, the race resumed for the final lap assault, and Camara sealed the deal, securing his first win in the series co-managed by Alpine and ACI Sport.

The Tatuus cars of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine return to the track at Spa-Francorchamps for the second qualifying session, which determines the grid for Race 1, starting today at 14:50. The Group B took to the track first. The track, still not completely drained in some areas due to heavy overnight rain, is declared wet. After the post-session examinations carried on by the Stewards following Race Director’s reports, Group A qualifying results change. Rafael Camara (Prema Racing) had his best lap deleted for failing to slow down when a yellow flag was displayed, while Lorenzo Fluxà (Prema Racing) left the track at turn 2. For this very same reason also Alessandro Giusti (G4 Racing) suffered the same penalty but kept the fifth placement.
