2023 EuroNASCAR PRO Junior Trophy winner Liam Hezemans has signed a contract with Hendriks Motorsport to continue with the Dutch powerhouse in the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season.

Last year, Liam Hezemans put the cherry on his first season in auto racing with the EuroNASCAR 2 championship. Fast forward six months and Hezemans is a race winner in the EuroNASCAR PRO division after dominating the first 18 laps of the 2023 season at Circuit Ricardo Tormo. The Dutchman took the lead at the start and never looked back in an exciting Round 1 that went green all the way to the end. 

A second generation race car driver is the new EuroNASCAR 2 Champion: Liam Hezemans rounded out his 2022 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season with a perfect streak of four consecutive race wins to become the second member of the Hezemans family to win a European NASCAR championship. The Hendriks Motorsport driver sped to victory at Automotodrom Grobnik to overtake Alberto Naska in the overall standings in the very last race of the EuroNASCAR 2 season. The 19-year-old also took the victory in the Rookie Trophy.

After a hugely successful 2021 campaign, Hendriks Motorsport will feature a young and talented tandem of drivers on the #50 Mustang in the upcoming 2022 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season
