Haupt Racing Team celebrates first Championship title in the DKM

In its first year of cooperation with the SIM-ON kart team, Haupt Racing Team celebrated its first championship title in the German Kart Championship (DKM). At the final race of the season in Wackersdorf, Bavaria, Lars Ramaer triumphed over his competitors in the X30 Senior category.

The collaboration between HRT and the SIM-ON karting team, which was launched this season, is already showing its first successes. With Lars Ramaer winning the X30 Senior class championship and Niklas Hirsch finishing fifth in the championship, the joint venture, which competed under the name Haupt Racing Team, ended 2025 on a high note. Ramaer travelled to the decisive final weekend in Wackersdorf five points behind in the championship leader. In an exciting final, Ramaer secured his third race victory after Marienbourg and Kerpen from third on the grid, thereby clinching the championship title. His teammate Niklas Hirsch also ended the season successfully with two top-five finishes and consistent results in the points, finishing fifth in the championship standings.

Maxim Becker also drove for HRT in the DJKM, consistently achieving top placings and finishing in an excellent fourth place in the championship. Lias Erbersdobler, who competed for HRT in the X30 Junior class, had to miss the final event of the DKM due to an injury he sustained at the IAME Euro Series final in Marienbourg, Belgium. Nevertheless, Erbersdobler still managed to finish seventh in the final standings. The guest starters at the final in Wackersdorf also attracted attention with strong performances. Amin Kara Osman (X30 Senior) achieved a remarkable result with pole position and fourth place in the final race, as well as victories in the heat and super heat races. Cesc Pieterse (X30 Junior) also finished fourth overall in the final race.

This brings SIM-ON and HRT's first joint season in the German Kart Championship to a close with a very positive outcome. HRT intends to build on these results in the coming season and continue to promote young talent in line with the ADAC's “Road to DTM” campaign.

Ulrich Fritz, Chief Executive Officer, Haupt Racing Team: "First of all, congratulations to Lars Ramaer on winning the championship and to Simon Steffen for a strong season. The championship title and the good results in a very competitive environment reinforce our decision to start promoting and supporting karting. We will continue our commitment next year, continuing to develop talented drivers in a targeted manner and paving the way for them to reach the top level of GT3 racing. We are looking forward to the next season."
