Frankfurt am Main. The big season finale of the German Kart Championship will take place this weekend in Franciacorta, Italy. The titles in all three categories DSKM, DSKC, and DJKM are still to be decided. In the supporting programme, the young drivers from the Mini60 Series by Chrono Karting will be competing as well. The event is presented by kart simulator manufacturer O-Rouge.

At the end of April, the German Kart Championship season started at the Arena E in Muelsen and from there made its way via Genk, Wackersdorf and Kerpen to Franciacorta. The 1,300-metre track is on the race calendar of Germany's top kart racing series for the first time and promises plenty of excitement during the course of the weekend. A few weeks ago, the decisions in the FIA Karting World Championship OK & OKJ were made at the same location.

No title awarded yet before the final
No decisions have been made as yet in the DKM categories before the final round. However, Stan Pex (SP Motorsport) is well on the way to his second success in the DSKM. He already has a clear lead before the final edition of the series. More exciting, however, is the fight for the runner-up championship: Here, Tim Troeger (Maranello SRP Factory Racing), Jorrit Pex (SP Motorsport) and David Trefilov (Maranello SRP Factory Racing) are separated by only 17 points.

A similar picture in the DMSB Shifter Kart Cup, the reigning KZ2 World Cup champion Niels Troeger (Maranello SRP Factory Racing) leads the classification and has a clear advantage over his pursuer and teammate Thomas Rackl. Rackl, in turn, can take it easy in the final, with third-placed Linus Hensen (Mach1 Motorsport - Kartschmie.de) 30 points behind.

It will be really close in the OK Junior: Marc Gerstenkorn (TB Racing Team) and Phil Colin Strenge (ADAC Württemberg e.V.) will travel to the final in Italy with only one point difference. The driver who is the better one at the end in Franciacorta wins the title. Cemil Bayyati (Lanari Racing Team) is still in third place.

The race program is rounded off by the Mini 60 Series by Chrono Karting. The young drivers have been represented at all of this year's DKM events so far and provided a great addition with their races. The field at Franciacorta is also well-stocked.

Racing simulator experts from O-Rouge present season finale
Since last year, the Belgian manufacturer of racing simulators O-Rouge has been a partner of the DKM. Besides highly professional simulators for formula and automobile racing, O-Rouge is one of a few manufacturers of simulators for karting. O-Rouge has already presented its version for direct-drive karts and, more recently, shifter karts at several races. The simulator gives the drivers the chance to perfectly adjust to a race track in advance. In doing so, the products convince with a very high proximity to reality. Live timing, live stream and social media accompany the DKM
In 2012, the DKM was the first race series worldwide to start with a live stream, and eleven years later, it is once again presenting extensive coverage. Starting with the heats on Saturday, all events will be broadcast in a live stream on www.kart-dm.de. In addition, there is already live timing from Friday noon - also at www.kart-dm.de.
