Great success of the first FIA Karting World Cup “arrive & drive” with OTK Kart Group supply

OTK Kart Group confirms its key role as technical partner in the first edition of the competition promoted by the FIA, providing all drivers with Kosmic Kart chassis, Vortex engines and Vega tyres.

The first edition of the FIA Karting World Cup “Arrive & Drive”, held on the weekend of 14–16 November at the LYL International Circuit in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), has officially come to an end. The new international event – promoted by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) with the aim of making high-level karting more accessible on a global stage – welcomed a total of 105 drivers (limited number of entries) in the Junior and Senior categories, all driving technical equipment entirely supplied by OTK Kart Group.

The Italian company, as the FIA’s exclusive technical partner during the event, provided drivers with Kosmic Mercury T chassis, the latest model in the Kosmic Kart range, powered by Vortex SV (Senior) and SV Junior (Junior) engines, each equipped with FIA homologated Vega tyres. In addition of all equipment, the OTK staff handled on-track assistance, providing technical support to every competitor. All of this is always ensuring that all drivers have technical equipment with identical performance. This approach displays what OTK Kart Group has successfully carried out for years in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy.

The feedback was extremely positive: 91% of participants stated that the “Arrive & Drive” format made it easier for them to access the event, and one in seven drivers was making his debut in an international competition. Overall, 50 nationalities were represented on track: results that confirm the value of this FIA initiative in promoting global participation in karting, thanks also to OTK Kart Group, which already looks ahead to the organization of 2026 and 2027 events, which will consist of three-rounds.

In the finals held on Sunday’s closing day, the winners were Zach Tucker (New Zealand) and Troy Ferguson (United States of America), in the Senior and Junior classes, respectively. Both, together with the other podium finishers, will be eligible to take part in the FIA Karting Shootout scheduled for next month.
