The 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy concluded today at the Steel Ring in Trinec, under sunshine after a dramatic weekend, with the Super Heats and Finals deciding every title and Grand Finals ticket of the season.

Emanuele Olivieri is the 2026 FIA Formula Regional European champion. The 18-year-old R-ace GP driver secured the overall title in a four-way showdown at Hockenheim, decided in the final race of the eighth and last round of the season. It capped an outstanding weekend for Thibaut de Mérindol’s team, which had already sealed the Teams’ title on Saturday.

The RMC Euro Trophy returns to Steel Ring for the second consecutive season, following a 2025 debut that produced one of the most memorable Finals Days of the year at the Czech venue. Round 4 will decide the 2026 Euro Trophy champions in Junior MAX, Senior MAX, DD2 and DD2 Masters. The Czech Euro Cup titles will also be awarded in Mini MAX, E20 Senior and E20 Masters.

After Friday’s qualifying heats raised the stakes, Saturday delivered the deciding chapter of the 2026 Champions of the Future Euro Series at Circuito Internazionale Napoli. Under sunny skies and in warm, dry conditions, the Super Heats offered one final opportunity to shape the grids before a season of racing came down to the Finals. Daniel Miron Lorente and Noah Baglin rose to the occasion, closing their campaigns with race victories and championship honours as Sarno brought the season to its conclusion.

Summer break is officially over, and the Champions of the Future Euro Series is back on track for Round 5 at Sarno. OK and OK Junior return to action in Italy with everything still to play for as we head into the closing stages of the 2026 season.
