The German Kart Championship is heading towards the halfway point of the 2025 season. From 25 to 27 July, Germany's most important kart racing series will be hosted at the traditional Schweppermannring in Ampfing. More than 180 drivers are expected to compete in the six classes and battle for the mid-season titles.

Spirgel and Orlov take the European Championships

In Germany, the suspense lasted until the very end for the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship in KZ. Mattéo Spirgel's victory in the Final, combined with Pedro Hiltbrand's retirement, tipped the balance in favour of the French driver at the expense of the Spaniard. In KZ2, Maksim Orlov finished his Championship with a flawless performance: three Finals, three victories! His victory is undisputed. In the FIA Karting Academy Trophy - Junior, thanks to his success in the Final at Mülsen, Finland's Oiva Vettenranta drew level on points with France's Maël Le Marchand, the winner at Valencia. Everything will be decided at the final competition in Italy in September.

Sodikart is double 2025 European Champion In KZ and KZ2

The FIA Karting European Championship ended on a high note for Sodikart at the Mülsen circuit. In KZ, Mattéo Spirgel dominated the event from pole position to the Final and took the European Championship crown, one year after his European title in KZ2. In this category, the Sodi-TM drivers from CPB Sport monopolised the entire podium, with Maksim Orlov winning ahead of Jayden Thien and Timo Jüngling. Winner of the three Finals in Spain, Italy and Germany, Orlov is logically the new KZ2 European Champion.
