The second race weekend of the 2026 season in the German Kart Championship is breaking new ground, as the top German kart series heads to Cheb for the first time. The Czech Republic now follows Belgium and Italy to become the third country to host a round of the DKM. The drivers can look forward to a totally new stop on the calendar from 29th to 31st May.

After a long wait since February, the Champions of the Future Academy Program now returns, this time heading into untouched territory for the series: Greece.

Second race weekend sees drivers and teams head to the Czech Republic. This is the third time in the history of the DKM that a round takes place abroad. More than 155 starters expected in five classes.

Having already set the fastest time in his group during Friday morning’s Free Practice, Danilo Albanese was awarded the pole position trophy a few hours later with a magnificent lap of 50.867 seconds. A time the Italian driver improved upon further to 50.687 seconds in Saturday’s warm-up!

CRG returned to the top step this weekend at the Genk circuit in Belgium, host of Round 1 of the FIA European Championship KZ-KZ2. Pace and outright speed were evident from the very first free practice sessions in the premier KZ category, with Viktor Gustafsson setting the benchmark and Adrian Malheiro confirming the competitiveness of the CRG-TM package.
