Iron Dames, the pioneering initiative dedicated to promoting women in sports, proudly announces its groundbreaking entry into the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA), which is welcoming its first-ever all-female line-up and joining the movement to promote and develop the brightest woman racing talents.

The official Kalì Kart Team will take part in an evocative race in Sicily on the Triscina track this weekend. In fact, Calogero Vanaria, founder of Kalì Kart, came from Sicily and this event is also a special occasion to remember him.

The second edition of the Swedish Championship for the Rotax E20 E-Kart will take place at the new Gellerasen Arena karting track at Karlskoga, incorporated into Sweden’s oldest motor racing circuit, on August 15-17. Two Rotax E20 classes will be closely contested at the historical ‘Kanonloppet’ (Canon Race), which was first run almost 75 years ago, together with the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia and an extensive motorsport program with an estimated 10,000 spectators attending. For their very first competition in the FIA Karting categories on the French circuit of Val d'Argenton, the KR chassis demonstrated their effectiveness and quality of adaptation. The second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series was not without its challenges, but the hard work put in by the teams using the KR-IAME package put the drivers on the right track.

Round 1 of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy concluded this past weekend at Karting Genk: The Home of Champions offers the first verdicts in terms of overall standings in the Junior MAX, Senior MAX, DD2, and DD2 Masters categories.

The Paul Ricard circuit buzzed with activity in the afternoon as the 32 single-seaters returned to the track for the second pre-season collective test of the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. Finnish driver Tuukka Taponen showcased his solid aptitude around the French track’s corners, clocking the fastest lap time of 1’57”492 in his R-ace GP car.
 

Zac Drummond was very strong throughout the weekend at Val d'Argenton, taking top spot in the OK standings after Round 2 of the Champions of the Future Euro Series. Among other interesting performances, Parolin Motorsport can also be proud of Miguel Costa's 12-place improvement in the Final, and Christian Costoya's 22-place climb in the Junior Final.

The 20th season of the California ProKart Challenge will continue on the April 20-21 weekend with a return to the Buttonwillow Raceway Park. The Superkarts! USA flagship regional series kicked off the 2024 season in March with its first visit to the Buttonwillow, California facility and will make another trip for the second round of the championship. This time, competitors will contest the 11-turn, 7/10-mile circuit in the clockwise direction.

Matheus Morgatto continued his fine form by taking his Birel ART chassis in the colours of the CL Racing Team to 5th place in the Champions of the Future Euro Series at the Val d'Argenton circuit in France, while Mees Houben climbed back into the top 10.

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine sprang into action this morning at Paul Ricard, the stage for the second pre-season collective test of the year. Commanding the track during the morning session was Rafael Camara of Prema Racing, who clinched the fastest lap with an impressive time of 1’57”321.

In the last few days, the CRG management officially presented the 2024 Rental Kart World Contest, the meeting dedicated to the world of Rental Kart with Sprint format organized by CRG. KIC Motorsport announced the addition of Alex Sawer (Sawer Hoàng Đạt) as a promising new talent for the upcoming season. The 16-year-old Vietnamese sensation, with a solid background in international karting, is poised to make his debut in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine after a successful campaign in the 2023 Formula 4 Indian Championship, where he notched a race win and six podium finishes. Supported by Evans GP, Sawer’s entry into FRECA signifies a pivotal step in his racing career.

At the first appointment of the WSK Promotion series, their Tony Kart Rookie powered by Vortex engine achieved second place in the MINI Gr.3 with the Racing Team driver Oliver Sini.
