The 2026 season for the ProKart Challenge program is set to close out over the October 3-4 weekend, hosting the fifth and final event of the year. The sixth round of the Superkarts! USA regional championship is heading to the K1 Circuit in Winchester, California. The layout for the weekend will feature the ‘Pro Track with Chicanes’, providing a different challenge from the opening double-round weekend that kicked off the 2026 schedule back in April.
 

The 2026 ProKart Challenge championship took another step toward crowning this year’s title winners, hosting Round Five of the program at the Spring Mountain Karting Complex. The Superkarts! The second half of the 2026 ProKart Challenge began over the August 15-16 weekend at Sonoma Raceway. The Sonoma, California circuit welcomed the series for the second of back-to-back trips, hosting the fourth round of the season championship on the ‘Reverse National’ layout. Picture-perfect weather greeted the nearly 160 entries across 11 categories for the weekend.

Having already won at La Conca, the young Greek driver put in an impressive performance in all conditions at the Val Vibrata circuit, where he triumphed in the Final whilst setting the fastest lap of the race.

Buggyra Academy, the driver development program of Buggyra Organization, announced a new partnership with Citarusus, one of the leading Czech karting teams, at a press conference in Prague on Monday. This partnership creates a combined Buggyra Academy/Citarusus karting unit and expands the Academy's training infrastructure to facilities in the Czech Republic, Italy, China, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.

For the first time in the season, the ROK Cup Italia was hosted at the 7 Laghi Kart circuit (Castelletto di Branduzzo), for the sixth championship round, featuring the hottest summer temperatures. At the end of the weekend, the following championship’s leaders emerged: De Ruit Milan (Mini ROK U10), Almekdad Ghazi (Mini ROK), Kostrzewa Blazej (Junior ROK), Salemi Riccardo (Senior ROK), Sorbello Andrea (Expert ROK), Gaglianò Giuseppe (Super ROK) and Chiarello Marco (Shifter ROK).

In the ACI Karting Italian Championship, the Modena Kart Racing Team once again fought hard at the front of the field at Sarno in the OK-N Junior class. Radu Basescu Pricop and Ioannis Kolovos put in strong performances, confirming their places in the top five of the overall standings with two rounds remaining. At the “Circuito Internazionale Napoli”, Danila Verba secured the team’s best result at the wheel of his Parolin-TM Kart. He, too, has moved into the top 10 of the Championship.

The opening two rounds of the 2026 Superkarts! USA ProKart Challenge were held over the April 24-26 weekend at K1 Circuit. The Winchester, California facility welcomed the SKUSA regional program for rounds one and two of action to begin the six-round championship schedule. A total of 11 categories began the title chase for the 2026 season with five drivers able to leave the opening weekend with two wins toward their point total.

Formule 20.000 is set to kick off its 2026 season on 9 and 10 May at the Soucy circuit, located 125 km southeast of Paris. The 100cc air-cooled karts from the 1990s to 2002 will then compete on two international circuits, at Saint-Amand-Montrond and then Laval, before heading to Loudun, a stone’s throw from the beautiful châteaux of the Loire Valley.
